I am slightly younger than Madonna. I don't think she looks awful for a 50 year old woman.

BariatricBob · 04/02/2010 18:43

well the nun getup and sucking a lemon face don't do much for her

TheCrackFox · 04/02/2010 18:43

Who the hell would be looking at Madonna when her very fit boyfriend is standing naked next to her?

TBH I know women her age who look better and haven't had "procedures" or half killed themselves down at the gym.

BariatricBob · 04/02/2010 18:49

she looks like a nob pouting and clawing at a necked youth

brimfull · 04/02/2010 18:50

she looks fine for her age

cocolepew · 04/02/2010 18:50

ouch

OP posts:
brimfull · 04/02/2010 18:50

well yes she looks a nob posing like that but still looking good for her age

cornsilk · 04/02/2010 18:51

I still think she looks okay! All mine are scarier than that.

brimfull · 04/02/2010 18:52

I would look shite if photographed without makeup ..in fact look shite with makeup when photographed

cocolepew · 04/02/2010 18:54

I think she looks shit, she's had loads of surgery but doesn't look any younger than my friends who are the same age. I think after a while surgery ages people.

What I wonder about is do slebs look in the mirror and see themselves as they appear in mags? I like to imagine myself seen through soft candle light

Looking at the other images in the link provided by Reality, it really pisses me off when they show women who are too thin with bones sticking through their back and they airbrush them off.

BariatricBob · 04/02/2010 18:57

why doesn't she give herself a break, go horseriding, hang out with her kids. life is to short.

wearing lacy gloves and poking fun at catholicism probably seemed great craic when she was in her 20's but 30 years of that shit!

pagwatch · 04/02/2010 19:00

coco
I thought I was aging well until I realise that I never use my reading glasseswhen I look in mirrors.
For a couple of years there I thought I was a fricking minx.

[sigh]

cocolepew · 04/02/2010 19:04

I work with a group of middleaged women and we are all under the impression we're beautiful until we have to put our glasses on. Then we're bitterly disappointed.

I worked with a woman who actually said to me "You're very attractive when I'm not wearing my glasses." Erm, thanks.

Vaseline on mirrors is the way forward.

at coco

I am a bit of a babe after a bottle of wine too - that works as well.
My husband agrees with that one.

satc2bringiton · 04/02/2010 19:10

If I look like her when im 50 I'll be well happy.

I think opinions like this are what make women so paranoid about how they look.

KnottyLocks · 04/02/2010 19:12

Or a husband who is extremely short-sighted.

I am a vision of loveliness in the morning.

choufleur · 04/02/2010 19:12

just proves she's human. anyone who is photoshoped will look better. i do it to my own photos, although not to that extent just to sort out light and balance etc.

morningpaper · 04/02/2010 19:16

she looks gerat for a thin 50 yaer old woman

have you MET any 50 year old women?

onlyjoinedforoffers · 04/02/2010 19:18

its worse when you are speaking to someone with big milk bottle specs who can see every crater in minute detail
