Curious to know answers! I feel like I was quite young in my area for my first - 30… then second was 33. Still wondering about a third but I’m so tired I don’t think I’ll have the energy to do it if I’m any older!

37, 37! I'm on my knees with one. Wish I'd done this 10 years ago, then would have had another. Everyone is different though! I see 40+ with their first, multiples etc seemingly breezing it. All the best for whatever way you decide xx

This I needed to see!
First at 41,miscarried the previous year, 2 miscarriages since, and just found out I'm pregnant at almost 44!

I did have a miscarriage between the two.
I hope it all goes well for you.
I did see an article today about having a baby later is actually healthy for you.

I was 43 when I had my one and only child, It was great, I was ready and we have got along brilliantly at every age since.

Sennelier1 · 30/10/2026 21:28

I was 27 when I had my first, 29 when I had my second. It was a conscious decision to have my children as close to each other as possible. If it hadn't been for an early miscarriage they would've been only 17 à 18 months apart. Still very happy with my decision!

47 & 8 months for first and 1 minute later for last. Pregnancy was a breeze symptom wise (apart from super low hypotension) and I was upright & mobile, and able to cough without pain, 24 hours post c section which a lot of other Mums on the transitional care unit couldn’t do.

7 years on I’m tired but have chronic health conditions that account for that without caring 2 very active boys!! But, most importantly for me, I knew no different when they were babies and just rode out the tiredness and other problems as being die to my health not because I’m an older mum!

That's amazing! I had my one and only at 40 and felt OK and even dare I say, fit! Now 15 years on, I feel utterly exhausted due to menopause. I wanted so much to have a second but it wasn't to be.

IthinkIsawahairbrushbackthere · 30/10/2026 21:44

I was 27 when I had my first and 40 when I had my last with three others in between. My 4th pregnancy was a breeze and my last delivery was a dream.
