Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my conservatory spot, after a toasty lie in with boy cat stretched out along me 🤣. Dd1's up and out to work already but we suspect it'll be rained off - she'll get paid so many hours for still going in. Dd2's been down for breakfast and a cuppa and taken them upstairs with girl cat.

I've got the washer going already, washed a few pots, and put some to soak. I'll finish those off when I get up for my tablets shortly.

Today's plan is to relax for an hour or two with my crochet - this one's a fairly quick project, I just need to find myself a smallish strawberry pattern - then get my bum into painting gear & try to get as much of the 1st coat of gloss in the hallway done as I can. Then more crochet, or try to finish my current book. My tbr is large & I was very tempted to add a series to it yesterday 🙈. I also want to find a pair of heels on Vinted, and maybe look at some loafers or similar for work 🤔. My trusty trainers are done after 2 years & I don't really want to pay out for a new pair right now.

Dd2 is planning to crack on with college work for a few hours. I'll interrupt every now & again so she joins me for a break!

Later on it's leftover takeaway for tea, showers and relax some more. So ready for a week of everything & nothing!

Good morning, both the kids were at sports this morning, hockey for the oldest and dance for the youngest, both with a halloween party straight after so we had nearly four hours child free!

We went out for coffee and cake once we had dropped them off, then we watched the first episode of Yaga together.

Now they’re back home and both need a shower as they either think or they’re covered in various sticky shit. Once they’re ready we’re off to the park for a bit, I’m going to the gym when we all get back as I have a hyrox training session that I missed last night, so I need to do it today.

i was supposed to run a marathon. The best in the uk but it was cancelled last night. Luckily I am local so no travel involved. It was gonna be my last one🥲 so i won’t defer to next year.

I didn't set the alarm this morning and woke up at 10.00 which is really unusual for me, but so nice to have the extra sleep. I had some coffee and porridge and tidied the lounge, whilst dh dropped ds at his girlfriends house and picked up dds friend who will be here probably until quite late. Its a wet and windy day so probably do a bit of reading and pottering round the house. A bit later we are going to a large garden centre to look at the pets and pet things as dd is getting a hamster at some point in the next few months and we need to suss out the equipment, hamster care having changed considerably since I had one. Lasagna for tea tonight, which I still need to make and I probably need to pop to the shops to make sure I have everything. Have a great day all!

Afternoon all. DH and I have just got home from dog walk at the beach that involved cheese toastie, coffee and cake. He’s now gone into his art studio to do some painting, and I’ve got a bit of ironing to do, then going to start a new crocheted blanket. We’re off out to some friends tonight for dinner. I might pull in a bit of weight training before then. Have a good weekend everyone.

Good afternoon all. A very quiet one here today. I'm waiting for mushroom soup to heat up which we'll have with a chunk of bread and butter. The storm is raging out there. We're on top of a hill so feel the full force. The fire is on and it's warm and cosy. Just what I need as I have a stinking cold. Unlike me to get one; I'm the last one of the family to get it, it's been doing the rounds for the past two weeks.

Going to have jacket potatoes and homemade chilli from the freezer for dinner then feet up and watch Strictly.

Had choir this morning, and feeling in the festive cheer after we started on the Christmas Carols today in prep for Christmas performances in December.

just picking up Hubby from his sports massage now, and we are going to finish packing up for our house move later this week.
It’s a grim, cold rainy and grey day today, heating on and lots of cups of tea.

Afternoon all. Well, DS and I have been struck down with a nasty cold so he's on the sofa and I'm in bed. This plus the awful weather tells me we're not going anywhere or doing much beyond lolling about and watching telly, as DH caters to our sickly whims. Dinner is sag aloo leftovers from the freezer with gooseberry pickle and garlic naan bread. Have a great day everyone.

Afternoon all. Had a very lazy morning still recovering from holiday. Just been to a few shops to help DS source a Halloween costume that I have to now stitch up and create.

Cup of tea just now and a read. Cats cuddling in. Ddog having daft half hour despite his big walk. Back to work and school Monday so trying to prepare a bit. I have so much college work to do too. I want to do a small bit tonight and tomorrow.

DH is gaming just now. He’s unpacked all the cases this morning and done lots of tidying so deserves a break. DD is half floating about half resting in the way of teenagers. DS is now waiting on a friend to come over.

They will have pizza for tea. DH and I are having pasta with the new m and s chicken Kiev dip Through it. Saw it on facebook. Looked nice.

It’s rainy here just now. Not as windy as forecast so hoping it stays that way but not confident. Have a safe and happy Saturday everyone.

Afternoon everyone! I had a golf lesson this morning, in the swing studio so I could stay dry. There's a biggish end of season competition at the club and I was very glad I wasn't in it as it's sooo wet! I went to my parents for lunch which was home made soup and very nice.

I'm at home this afternoon, a friend is coming to stay over tomorrow evening so I ought to get the spare room sorted out as it's full of stuff needing binning or putting in the loft (suitcases etc). This evening I'm going to see the Ghosts film with DH so looking forward to that! Hope everyone who has seen it already on this thread enjoyed it!

It's horrible here outside, on top of a hill in the NW. All the bins have blown over and the parasol is half way down the garden. I have lit the fire and just had a hot ribena. Cat is stretched out in front of said fire and starting to smell singed - she will move sides shortly until she has to turn over again. She's 18 so is entitled to do nothing.
I am going to do some baking and reading. My hall is leaking and my heating is broken so am feeling really stressed as I am on half pay due to cancer and have no savings left after topping up and various other expenses. I decided to have a day doing very little to try and destress.

I woke at 11.30, I have nothing to do at all so im going to binge online alday.
And binge on MN watching thread about the 3 day warning, it very entertaining as some are acting like its the end of the world coming.
