Your earliest pregnancy symptoms?

I'm sure that I'm pregnant! I'm scared to take a test though as sometimes my periods are a little late, and I really don't want to get my hopes up.
However, I've been noticing a couple things over the last week or so that are making me question things a bit!

1. I am SO tired. I slept 14 hours the other day.
2. My breasts are definitely rounder and feel heavier?? Partner has also noticed this!
3. Waking up to pee. I never ever wake up before my alarm because I need to pee. It's happened almost every morning this week.
4. No pre-period cravings or mood swing, a day or two before I get my period, every time, I get randomly very emotional over little things (tiktok videos!).
5. Perhaps weirdest, and likely unrelated, I keep randomly getting butterfly's in my stomach.

I also just 'have a feeling', but of course I could be entirely wrong.
My last period started September 23rd.

I'm a coffee addict but I always went off coffee completely, to the point where it made me heave, even before my period was late. The first time I was abroad and thought there was something wrong with the coffee or the milk. It finally dawned on me I might be pregnant when we went supermarket shopping and all I wanted to buy was grapefruit juice (which I had never drunk in my life). With future pregnancies I knew what was happening as soon as I pushed my first cup of coffee away.

Mine was the most vivid dreams I’ve ever had.

Really painful boobs around the nipple area whereas before a period they feel heavy and are sore on the outside. Happened in all 3 pregnancies

I’ve never heard of anyone else who had the same very early sign - apart from a missed period - as mine. A very definite tingling in just one boob - I was in the shower the first time. 2nd time, exactly the same tingling - I was polishing an antique corner cupboard we’d recently bought!

These were both before you could buy tests to do very early at home, so it was handy to be sure at just a few weeks.

Couldn’t drink the second glass of wine. It was a visceral reaction. Next day peed on the stick and it was pregnant before I’d even finished peeing.

Crushing tiredness was my first symptom.

This my be a bit invasive but for me I used cervix position. High and soft like lips is pregnant, low and harder like the end of your nose is not pregnant. It gave me very clear pre-test answers through 3 failed and 1 final successful IVF treatments.
Just check with (very clean) fingers.

My sense of smell was like a bloodhound and I went off of the smell of coffee. Could smell someone smoking 10 streets away 🤢

Extremely sore boobs.
Tiredness.
Went off coffee pretty much instantly (same as when I was pregnant with DD)

Heartburn, all three pregnancies, I lost the first one but each of them I had heartburn right from the start and all the way through, I was necking gaviscon from the bottle

My pregnancy symptoms showed up really early. I went out for a works Xmas do approx six days after conception and really couldn't face what I'd chosen. I took a test early on the day my period was die and it immediately showed Ibwas pregnant. Around that time my boobs really really tender at the edges and I was struggling not to be sick in front of others.

holiday and had what I thought was the worst PMT I’d ever felt in my life

Vivid dreams, sore boobs, frequent urination for me. I’m invested now, keep us posted, best of luck!

I cried at a trailer at the cinema. I am absolutely not a crier.

Me too. Before my I missed my period, a metallic taste, overwhelming. Had twins btw!

Heightend sense of smell which is heightened already was almost unbearable and that was only 5 weeks following the last period..

As early as that also enjoyed the smell of diesel fumes from buses, working in London at the time and it was ideal for this craving. It was very noticeable because of how strange it was.

Also had a metallic taste with my second. Knew instantly!

Pregnancy and women’s bodies are just fascinating aren’t they? I really didn’t have any symptoms that I was aware of before testing, but lots of the above after I knew.

I always got a stuffy nose as my very first pregnancy symptom

My sense of smell is extremely good anyway but I entered a whole new level when I was (briefly) pregnant & sometimes smells were unbearable.

Sleeping! Absolutely exhausted every day. Having to have white pepper on all my food and wanting chocolate, which is unusual for me as I'm normally a savoury person. This vanished by the time I was 7 weeks pregnant.

My nipples changed shape.

I looked down and said to DH, oh look these look weird. I thought I may need to get my boobs checked by my gp. And then I was, err, shall I do a test? 3 or 4 days before period due and it was positive. We’d stopped trying a year before so I wasn’t really paying attention to lots of things.

what felt like period cramps

I had what I think is called an "implantation bleed" with two of mine before I took the test. Very light pink spotting. I knew immediately what it was the second time around. Other than that, tiredness was a thing (can't remember which child but definitely worse with my girls than my boys) No symptoms with the other three, so it is not always obvious. I found tests picked up that I was pregnant before they were actually meant to, I never had a false positive. HTH and Congrats xx
