I think it best to think for whole meals (I also have fairly fussy kids to consider!)
we have a small camping stove if needed. Not counting stuff we have in fridge/freezer that we would use first or intergrate with store cupboard bits; I wanted a few meals that are solely from the cupboard if needed.
breakfast: cereal bars, cereal with UHT oat milk, porridge pots (just add hot water)
lunches: tinned ravioli, tinned macaroni cheese, tuna (with sweetcorn and mayo) in tortilla wraps. Heinz tomato soup (bread in freezer or i could make flatbreads with flour and water)
pasta mugshots/ pot noodles
dinners: tinned chilli with rice and tortilla chips,
chicken in white sauce stirred into pasta with sweetcorn, tinned curry with rice and naan, corned beef hash (with Idahoan instant mash, served with baked beans and ketchup)
hot dogs topped with tinned chilli or crispy onions, lentil bolognese with pasta and dried Parmesan cheese.
snacks: mixed nuts, jelly pots with tin custard, tinned fruit, multipack crisps, pack of biscuits, angel delight (with uht milk) hot chocolate with marshmallows.
