I feel as though every thread turns into a row about 3 replies in. Is everyone just more argumentative these days? Rows between women about misogynistic behaviour I find really sad. Is there still a sister hood?
Should I just stay on the books and gardening threads?

Ah ok. Well it's Young Person, it was with the context of education. I am so used to using it and it's used very often on university / Higher Education boards /discussions / websites, I didn't think twice. Yes.. don't get weirdly angry, just look it up / ignore / ask.. Very sensible advice for us all! But MNers love a tussle..

Well yes because this is the weekly ‘isn’t MN mean’ thread. Do you want people to convince you to stay? Or do you want people to be more supportive of each other?

@Anarchy99- erm..... this is exactly what I'm talking about. The general meaness of your tone. No one needs to convince me to stay but the general rudeness is horrible.

No-one is saying you have to be bosom buddies but I don't understand the total lack of civility. It isn't "be kind" or "sisterhood" to want a generally polite exchange.

I dislike the posters who are argumentative and lazy. Their single response to a post will be ”And?”
They can’t even be arsed to argue.
