@noodlezoodle what exactly are the undisputed facts in the public domain regarding DW? As far as I'm aware there are only allegations and it is on those allegations that led his publisher and the BBC to drop him.

See my first link a few posts ago. And if that's what he does on stage while he's being filmed, I hate to think what he does behind the scenes.

Also the 'only allegations' go years back and are so numerous that I don't think we can say this is a decent man. When young women are told BY THEIR EMPLOYER to never be alone with a man, why do you think that might be?

Perhaps only fools know who the person is 😏

Wrong David. And I’m pretty sure DJ’s won’t come out until his death. DW on the other hand, not long to go until the details fully emerge. Some people will be completely shocked at the monster he is.

Ive no idea what this means

So an actor in Only Fools and Horses can only be DJ or NL obviously, some scandal about them. Never heard of any. What is it?

I’ve no clue myself.
My guess for the most likely candidate would be DW.

HammockFace · 18/10/2026 07:13

How come people at these big TV companies don't just go with their spidey senses? It's like they don't have them or something? The first time I clapped eyes on RB I knew he was a wrong un.

Failing that, at the first sniff of trouble, a proper undercover investigation and if it looks like it's true, cancel them.

There have been so many scandals with DJs and TV personalities where people have known for years that they are dodgy af but it's all covered up. Absolutely sickening for the victims.

I was sexually assaulted by my first boss. It really messed me up for years. This was in 1981. If I see a man that looks slightly like him, I break out in a sweat and my pulse goes mad, even now.

Onlyontuesday · 18/10/2026 07:25

There's a difference between having a mental illness and a feature of this being you want to end your life, and feeling suicidal because you are adjusting to the reality that your lovely privileged life has been fucked by your own horrible actions.

I'm not surprised he didn't engage with aftercare, because health professionals won't be able to erase the reality for him that he's done some awful things and he is (hopefully) going to go through the ordeal of being held accountable.

The poster was referring to DJ. Apparently there’s been rumours/complaints about him for years

@noodlezoodle what exactly are the undisputed facts in the public domain regarding DW? As far as I'm aware there are only allegations and it is on those allegations that led his publisher and the BBC to drop him.

It was reported by The Guardian at the end of last year that one female employee of his publishers who reported concerns about DW's behaviour received a five-figure financial payment.

Former employees reported that they were subsequently advised to meet with DW only in pairs and to avoid visiting his home.

To date, there are three women who have made allegations against him.

DW has denied all allegations of inappropriate behaviour.

Two letters were sent to him in the spring and ITN and The Guardian want to report on the contents of those letters.

Allegations to the police?

Same. I also think that these kinds of posts are irresponsible as it's no doubt just going to lead to a load of speculation and completely innocent people's names being brought up.

And ridiculous cryptic clues and initials…and people saying ‘I still don’t know!! DM me!!!’

Think you're missing that there are several names bandied about on here, they can't ALL be the right person.
So, as has been said, other names get dragged in too whether it's them or not under the guise of speculation and gossip.

Yes, I literally read it…I was responding to another poster who said these posts lead to speculation etc…I was giving an example on other posts where people tie themselves in knots giving clues…I read about David Williams and this injunction some days before this thread.

I think that’s where that clue leads. 😂

But the majority of comments on this thread think DW.
I’ve no clue either way!

Please give me a proper clue

The lawsuit has been publicised in a US Legal journal in August. It is DW. It is a fact. Just search his name and legal action and journal.

nufe · 18/10/2026 10:51

Wildgoat · 17/10/2026 15:08

I should also add the anonymity is only temporary and till the trial concludes, the judge has decided all 4 names should be held private until he has ruled on the injunction.

so there’s a trial going on at the moment but we don’t know about it (apart from here and X?) because of a super injunction?!!

The only thing I would say is that the Press Release about the DW injunction cites his lawyers as being Cleary Gottlieb but the lawyers cited in the judgment instructing Sara Mansoori are Russells.

He could of course have changed his representation in the last two months but equally it could be a different individual

He admitted on a interview that he won an award for most innuendo on a tv show he was on and basically said no one on the set ever dared to bend over near him.
there was an odd incident years ago where two men took underaged boys to his house and were subsequently arrested but he wasn’t there and denied knowledge
And he was once considered to be inappropriate on an interview with a female interviewer
Theres probably more

No, the judge has made an emergency temporary order granting anonymity. There will be a further more detailed hearing at the end of October to determine whether or not the order should be made permanent. These are civil proceedings focused on the individual’s right to privacy, they are not criminal proceedings relating to the allegations which have been made

I have read that press release several times and didn’t take it that Cleary and Gottlieb were representing DW. It is a round-up of litigation news. The first paragraph states C&G are facing a lawsuit themselves. The second paragraph talks about DW initiating an injunction against the Guardian and ITN and doesn’t specifically mention who is representing him. The third paragraph talks about litigation between 2 firms and again does not mention C&G.

As it is a round-up of the week’s news it reads to me as three separate pieces of legal news unconnected to each other. Obviously I may be wrong but that’s how it reads to me.
