They’re all dressing to their persona. You’re the outrageous one (Joanne/Joe), you’re the faded glory one (Jerry), you’re the dorky one (the Jameses) .. it’s just exaggerated character play,

“… Jerry / James and Ross”?

They are dressed by wardrobe.

Thank goodness for Maya’s oversized ostrich fluffy coat thing. On of my highlights of the series has been when someone said she looked like the honey monster in it when she was slouching down and neck not showing. (I think it was honey monster, whatever was said, it made me laugh out loud!

I agree that Claudia’s outfits aren't really noteworthy yet.
