Is Traitors actually a competition for the ugliest clothes?

True, I wouldn’t judge an outfit in real life, but this is a celebrity reality show. Some of the clothes are so outlandish I feel the celebs are wearing them like costumes to be eye catching and entertaining and stir conversation.
we are thoroughly enjoying the crazy outfit parade and seeing what comes out next!

I have said "what are they wearing??!!" Three times tonight

I liked Hannah’s green bomber yesterday, in fact I was looking at it on Vinted before she wore it.

Joe Lycett is eccentric, that’s who he is. Joanne wears some some interesting stuff but that seems to fit with her loud personality. What else are they wearing that’s out there? I couldn’t wear the heels Maya does.

Can't read too much as we are not up to date but yes! Honestly the church in the first episode was like someone had covered them in glue and thrown a toddler's dressing up box at them. The cheap looking part see-through flasher mac that looked like it was made of a poo coloured bin-bag 😱So much neon fur!

James Blunt, lovely guy, but his track suits are giving out an unfortunate Jimmy Saville vibe.

I think both the regular and celeb versions have their fair share of wacky dressers. I suppose it's more interesting to watch and it amplifies people's personalities maybe? That said I think Maya and Jerry look wonderful but Joanne's awful hair extensions and green nails are really distracting.

James Blunt is clearly taking the piss Joe Lycett has always been a colourful dresser.

It's definitely a "thing" on Traitors so some are playing up to it and for others (like Joe Lycett) they usually dress very loudly anyway.

Johnathan Ross last year was wearing huge fur coats and Stephen Libby on the non-celeb version wore some amazing outfits. Claudia is known for her Traitors outfits so I think a lot of the contestants join in.

I read somewhere that prior to the show a stylist from the show takes them shopping and they are given call sheets on each day of filming directing them what to wear. So, it’s their style but choreographed by the producers

I just think they’re treating it like costumes. I mean, essentially it’s something to wear to breakfast and the round table — you’re wearing outdoor gear for the missions. You don’t have to do anything while wearing it, so I suppose it’s a chance to wear oversized yeti shrugs or strange custard-coloured suits.

Agree all mostly terrible except Jerry .

They all look terrible this series
Sack the stylists if they were given advice about what to wear.
Maya had stupidly high white shoes with black tights yesterday which looked cheap & very tacky.
And why is Jerry always dressing like she's going to work in a basic office job?

James Blunt's badly dyed hair is also a distraction.

Joe Lycett looked to me like he’d come as part of the background from a 101 Dalmatians poster. I loved it.

I’ve loved lots of Claudia’s clothes in every other series. I’ve often looked them up on line and wished I was rich enough to be able to buy them. But I haven’t liked any in this series. Is there a new stylist?

Joe came on (wearing a shiny coat) and my DH exclaimed ‘Why is he wearing a chocolate wrapper’ Then my young child said he looked like he’d fallen out of a box of Quality Streets.

Was that the weird huge, checked brown plastic coat he had on and Bash was also seen wearing?
It was like something an old woman would wear & looked cheap as chips but no doubt cost an absolute fortune.

Claudia definitely has the same stylist. She’s on Instagram and posts after every episode.

I’m still not over that bright green jacket Bash arrived in. Like something the late queen would’ve worn.

Agree about James Blunt hair. He’s like a little old lady at times.
