i’m on annual leave, thought I would treat myself to a tub of Pringles, can’t remember the last time I had any, they taste different, Texas bbq was my favourite, they taste really weird now anyone else noticed?

Try the Co op salt and Chardonnay vinegar crisps. Much much nicer.

Coming here to say this - glad you beat me to it.

the Coop salt and Chardonnay vinegar crisps are the best (stronger than the Asda ones mentioned upthread) and they will actually take the roof of your mouth off and blister your tastebuds, which in my view is a sign of an exceptional crisp.

Alot of crisp dont taste like the use to, i had a pack of ready salted the other day and they was awful and dry bland no taste.
Same as a lot of other foods tbh.

They are my favourite flavour and I agree that they are not as good these days

My young adult DS agrees with you @pinenuts75

He was so pissed off he actually went as far as emailing the manufacturer to complain that his favourite sour cream and onion Pringles were different and ask what they'd done to them. They responded, denying that they'd changed the recipe in any way, but they did send him three €5 vouchers.

Bet they did deny it, I guess they won’t admit it, well I won’t be buying them again that’s for sure.

Definitely different and not in a good way
I threw the tub away

Spanglybangles · 06/10/2026 19:21

Can’t say I’ve really noticed to be honest. My favourite are the paprika ones and still enjoy them. I was in Canada over the summer and had honey mustard Pringles and they were fantastic.

They taste stale to me now, from the tube. Tesco sells small bags of mini pringles in a multipack and they are nicer, don’t have stale taste.
