Just struggling through my first dose of Plenvu. Always had Picolax before, this is just 😵‍💫🫩

Sympathy to anyone else out there doing this 😣

Been there @GreenShady and not fun at all, but a necessary evil! I found the prep worse than the actual procedure if that makes you feel better :) I found the drinking bit worse than the loo bit, if that makes sense. The loo bit was fine, just frequent!

Commiserations and wishing you strength and fortitude 💪 is there anything we can chat about to help take your mind off it?

Did you put it in the fridge the colder the better

I did mine last week and it didn’t work 🫣 had to do it all over again so good luck!

Plenvu is the worst. Commiserations. I found moviprep easier.

Yes, thank you both, I was well prepared, made it an hour before and put it in the fridge, had it in a glass with a straw and a glass of sprite to chase down each disgusting mouthful!

Well I’ve got through that part for now but have to take the second dose - apparently even nastier- at 5am tomorrow!

And now the waiting begins 🤣

I’ve been through this twice before but not with Plenvu!

The procedure itself is always a hazy blur thanks to the lovely sedation 🤣

The sedation is brilliant for sure. Being wheeled on the trolley afterwards whilst dozy was the best part ;

You have my full sympathy, this was me on Sunday. Most vile stuff I’ve ever tasted in my life, and you have to take it in 500ml of water 😱. I took a few gulps then had a very small sip of marmite in boiling water, or grape juice (you can have both of those on the clear liquids phase) to take the taste away.

Love the lovely sedation! 🤣

Thankfully all girls, because it hit me at about 1am and my poor housemate happened to walk out of her room just as I was RUNNING stark naked to the bathroom, tits swinging freely 🤣

Bless you, plenvu is brutal. Take a book into the bog and console yourself it will all be over soon!

Just wanted to add - smother your bumhole in Vaseline before every ‘event’!

I've used both in the last month and found them equally ick. I found the final plenvu the worst but all 'lemon' flavoured drink is ruined for me now since I associate the smell/taste with bowel prep. And, indeed, the prep is the worst part.
