Can you wear this to Aqua Aerobics

I am keen to try aqua aerobics (I last did it years ago!). Very self conscious wearing a swim suit. Do you think one of these would be suitable?

I know a lot of leisure centres (including mine) are trying to be more flexible with their swimwear policy to be more inclusive. The policy mentions shorts/leggings and swim dresses. TIA

No idea what your pool allows it absolutely love the swimsuit style.

I'm a member at village and people wear absolutely all sorts. Young ladies wearing hardly anything at all 🫣 muslim

I just realized the link is different than the picture. I have seen women in the looser fit suits. I myself have tried a skirt. I hate the loose fit. It flaps around. mine was layered with a bra and bikini bottom under and one time I got so frustrated I ripped off the top layer and just wore the bikini. I have never worn a bikini in my entire life. I was at my peek weight and it was not a pretty sight but I did not care.

rash guards and swim shorts work so much better

I am a long term aqua aerobics attendee and have never seen anyone in anything as flappy as that. If first timers turn up in a two piece they will find a one piece for the next session. Depends on the class but ours has a lot of jumping.

Enjoy the class, its great for strength and your core working against the resistance of the water.

But their sport centre may have a different policy
to yours. Ask the place you plan to attend.

Its too flappy for my liking. But I'd use a leg suit that I swim in.

If they allow men in baggy shorts they should allow that.

No need to worry about keeping up with glamour I wouldn't have thought, my aqua aerobics class is full of mostly older women like me and they all seem gloriously unselfconscious about their bodies of all shapes and sizes, honestly there are some sights! Nobody cares, it's great. I've seen some swimsuits that are a bit more like shorty wetsuits sometimes, more coverage and more fitted?

I think I would find the lack of bust support (due to it being loose) and the movement of the fabric (again due to it being loose) quite irritating when doing aquarobics. But I don't think it would be a problem from the swimming pool's perspective.

It looks fine just check the bust support as there’s a lot of bouncing around.

Sorry - I know I am late to the post. I have the exact romper and have worn it to AA. I found it was too much material. It became difficult to move around in and very heavy.

I always wore a swimsuit with good boob support.

Where I attend, the rule is that it must be of swimwear material. Even if it's top to toe to for reasons of modesty. Outdoor clothes and other materials are not permitted. 👍🏼

Ita marketed as a swimsuit so I'd assume it is typical polyester, similar to mens baggy swim shorts rather than polyester with lycra that women's swimsuits and budgie smugglers are.

One reviewer mentioned "Non GB purchase fees and transaction fees". I'm unclear on what she meant: other Chinese mail-order companies deduct credit card fees and a percentage for lost stock compensation if they finally agree to refund.

Sizing and quality are said to be extremely variable. You could well get lucky with your playsuit, but be warned! It looks nice in the photos, and this type of swimwear is suitable for aqua aerobics.

I go to aquarobics at least once a week, and 99% of attendees just wear plain black one piece bathers. Wearing something like this would attract more attention at my pool than just a regular one piece suit. Your body is underwater for the class anyway, just have a cover-up or a towel ready to grab as soon as you get out of the pool if you're feeling self conscious.

I like it but I will say that my friend wears a cover up kind of swim suit in a bright patten as she’s self conscious but I think it draws more attention to her as it’s so bright and different to a bog standard black costume. But if you like it and it makes you feel good then buy it!

I think it looks perfectly suitable for aqua aerobics, especially if your leisure centre allows swim dresses and leggings. It looks much more comfortable and covering than a standard swimsuit too, so I’d say go for it!

Can’t see why not. On the rare occasions I swim I wear a long sleeved rash vest, with a bikini top underneath and swim shorts which are just above my knee length.

It looks more suitable for sitting around a pool in rather than wearing in the water. All the excess fabric will stick to you when you get out too. I'd go for a more supportive sporty swimsuit with shorts.

Surely it depends on the place you are going though. Ours wouldn't allow it, they only allow close fitting swim wear,.including men's shorts.

I think you will stand out more in that than in a swimming costume. is there a body area you'd like to hide? maybe we could help find something else.

I do aqua and that looks really nice.

I'm an aqua fan and I wear a tankini with boy shorts, as I find a regular swimsuit creeps up my bum. Your choice might be too loose as others have said.
