My wife gets annoyed at me for basically doing nothing when she's on her period

Ohh, today I was working on my laptop and she was on the couch. I laughed a bit at something on my phone, and then a little later I laughed again. My wife got angry at me, and I'm honestly confused.

I know periods can affect mood and make someone more irritated, but is this normal? Or am I doing something wrong without realizing it?

For context, we're both 32

My DH offers to get me chocolate painkillers and a hot water bottle. The chocolate is little bit of a cliche because I don’t have a particular sweet tooth and don’t get a chocolate craving when I’m on my period but I appreciate the consideration, he’s showing he recognises that I get rubbish cramps and is trying to show a bit of care and nurture and I really really appreciate it. I suggest you try similar.
