Come on Binface!

Just that really. I know he is unlikely to win but I would love it if it was really close! Come on Clacton!

OP posts:
Clydebuilt · 13/08/2026 12:20

I hope he gets a huge majority!

TY78910 · 13/08/2026 12:45

Can I ask why? Is it only because it would mean Nigel won’t get in?

I’d really rather anyone but Nigel, but I also don’t think politics is supposed to be a joke. There are real lives at the end of this performance, ones that need real social issues to be addressed and their areas need to be led with positive action. I don’t believe that the below manifesto reflects that.

Come on Binface!
SoBoredOfSelfDoubtHowToGetOut · 13/08/2026 12:46

Politics is a joke when Farridge is about. Corrupt little man.

KrazyKatty · 13/08/2026 12:48

Anyone in Clacton who votes for Farage must have a screw loose! 🥸

OopsThatWasExcessive · 13/08/2026 12:49

If he wins, doesn't that mean Farage escapes investigation?

The best outcome would be for Farage to beat Binface by just one vote.

Well, the absolute best would have been for nobody to stand against him and nobody to vote for him except Farage himself, and therefore for everyone to know that he was his own sole supporter... but obviously that wasn't going to happen in a constituency where people voted him in previous to the scandal.

Yellowsubmarine55 · 13/08/2026 13:28

Best outcome is for Farage to get in so the investigation can continue and then for it to find not in his favour and another by election kicks him out 😁

Girasoli · 13/08/2026 13:30

I like that Count Binfaces campaign seems to be a positive one - e.g. showing the nice/touristy bits of Clacton.

He has promised to treat the role sensibly if voted in. Which is more than Farage has

gamerchick · 13/08/2026 13:32

I want him to win. Little weasel needs to face his demons.

Getting in by 1 vote would be brilliant.

MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack · 13/08/2026 13:34

I would love him to win.

Yes, because I would very much like to see Farage with egg on his face.

But also because I genuinely believe that Binface, if elected, would take it seriously and be a much better MP for Clacton than Farage.

It won't happen though, sadly.

Binface has done more for Clacton than Nigel has in years. Nigel has no interest in Clacton and I hope the voters there realise that.

Readytoplay · 13/08/2026 18:17

I live in the Clacton constituency and sadly it feels that most people here have been completely brainwashed with his lies and fake promises!

Nearly every other house here has a poster reading ‘I am with Nigel’.

It’s truly terrifying. It reminds me of the ‘Vote Saxon!’ story line in Doctor Who were The Master hypnotises the entire UK to vote him in as PM.

Yes, there are real lives at the end of the performance, which is why Count Binface or anybody would be better than Farrage. His attendance at Parliament voting is 30%, he is never at his constituency either. So whatever he is doing with his time, he has certainly done nothing to improve the lives of his constituents.

SoBoredOfSelfDoubtHowToGetOut · 14/08/2026 06:01

Farage isn’t even bothering to be at the declaration.

He doesn’t really have any regard for the people of Clacton, does he? And they lap it up.

Mydogisagentleman · 14/08/2026 06:07

Unfortunately, I'm watching on the bbc

Looks like he's been elected

It appears there are a lot of loose screws in Clacton. The ghastly little fuck won the by election. His first job as MP will be to explain why he didn't declare the £5m gift.

22,000 plus loose screws, more than voted for him in 2024. And his vote share went up.

Only solace is the investigation will pick up again.

Pipsquiggle · 14/08/2026 06:25

Ugh he's 'won' ......against a bin.
I was hoping for a fairytale ending.
At least we can watch as he squirms under the scrutiny and tries to explain his £5m gift.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 14/08/2026 06:26

He ought to be charged for the cost of this totally unnecessary election. Cowardly not to go to the declaration. He said the police advised him not to. The police say they didn't. He's going to make political capital out of Ann Widdicombe's death for as long as he can.

IzzyGone · 14/08/2026 06:28

What a waste of time and money, so Farage gets the most votes and the investigation restarts. Farage says Essex police have told him not to attend the winning podium, Essex police say they’ve not told anyone not to attend…

again with the lies

Farage offered to pay, knowing this is illegal

Monty36 · 14/08/2026 06:44

He didn’t want to be photographed having to stand near a bin and all the other looney party people and candidates.

Which is why he didn’t attend the declaration.

paintedpanda · 14/08/2026 06:45

I wonder what’s wrong with the people of Clacton to vote for Farage. I would have voted for a literal bin over him, and I don’t mean Count Binface 🗑️

BelleEpoque27 · 14/08/2026 06:53

His ego couldn't take having to stand next to a bin. Sad, sad little man.
