Fed up of electric toothbrushes breaking. Are there any reliable brands?

We've always used Oral B but they just stop working after a while. I've lost track of how many we've had but we probably have to replace one a year.

Are there any (not too expensive) brands which are more reliable?

I'm using a 20+ year old oral B. What are you doing to them?

Charging every night isn't needed. They aren't like a phone.

I charge mine maybe once or twice a week but that’s with using it morning and night.

Another vote for SURI. I've had mine ages.

I charge my oral b about once every 2 months! It does not need charging every 4 days

Less the battery,. I'm finding they get mold build up inside despite washing and drying after each use, it's a badly designed product

Ours (oral b) is a sealed unit... no inside access to get mold in.

I meant the brush head attachment, there is the little gap at the front and that means water gets in, it's a known design flaw.

Our brush heads are changed every 6 weeks or so. But I guess they dry off quickly, upright on our sunny windowsill, so that probably helps a lot.

Wonder if there is another brand that doesn't have this issue

Had a basic oral B for years.
Replace the heads regularly with tesco own brand one. No breakdowns hereo

I have an Oral B which is going strong after 8 years, only charged when it starts to slow, which is every 3-4 weeks or so. The every day charging might be doing something to the battery.
