Wish all the bastard flies would F off 😩

I’m being driven insane by them. Every time I start to prepare any food they swarm in like a plague of locusts. I’m really careful to clean up as I go along, don’t leave food/crumbs out. Can’t keep windows closed because it’s so bloody hot. Roll on winter. If anyone has found anything that works apart from poisoning us all with fly spray, let me know! We don’t put bird food out, or have any pets 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have done this with normal fly spray in my kitchen. The buggers seem to meet up in the bay window! Looks a bit smeary but so far has helped keep the numbers down!

Put lavender and/or Basil plants at open windows, flies hate them.

Put a Heavy Duty Bug Blind,Strip Blind-80cm in any open doorways to outside, the flies can't fly through them (£19 at Amazon)

And keep a couple of flyswatters handy or sticky fly strips in the worst areas to get them.

I've zero issues with flies using these things at home?
