So excited! In a world where almost every soft drink you can buy is poisoned with artificial sweeteners, I've found a really nice one which isn't and just had to share.

Get yourself down to M&S and buy their lemonade in a 1 litre bottle. It is labelled "no artificial sweeteners". It is also not toooooo sweet - absolutely perfect and makes a nice change for me from original coca cola and Rocks cordials.

@Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride they still do the orange hi juice squash without sweeteners, just the rest they have ruined🤬
Rocks squashes are just sweetened with sugar, Roses lime cordial and pelligrino classic drinks if want fizzy. I can't stand any artificial sweeteners even the ones they label as natural like stevia & sucralose are disgusting and don't agree with me😖

Who else has just popped to M&S for lemonade and squash (and jars of beans but that’s another thread)? I had to go on tippy toes to reach the bottles at the back of the top shelf!

here you go. There are all
sortsmof minor variations but this is the base I I used. Became
somewhat obsessed with the stuff living in the ME many many years ago.

Thank you! I look forward to trying this

It depends which San Pellegrino. They do some without sweeteners (including stevia). It’s hard to find though. Ocado do it

I’ve been drinking a fair bit of Dash. They do lots of different flavours.

For those mentioning Fevertree, just be careful you buy the correct one. A lot of their range has sweeteners (often fructose).

Unfortunately, the drinks companies responded to the sugar tax a few years ago by increasingly using sweeteners (presumably so they keep their prices lower). Many will disagree with me, but I’m convinced that in years to come we will discover that artificial sweeteners, and possibly “natural” sweeteners, are much worse for us than normal sugar.

@Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride San pelligrino classic is only sugar but hard to find, ocado usually has it in lemon and orange. I've also checked online and the orange hi juice M & S is still only sugar but I think they must do both as when I tried to buy in actual M & S i noticed had sucrolose,(which I agree is the devil, really upsets my stomach😖)..

I bought the orange squash in store this week, definitely no sweetener. Every other squash had sweetener, including another orange version.

DH has taken to importing Orangina from France. He was questioned about it by French customs but when he explained the situation, they were sympathetic!
