What did you do to celebrate 20/25 year type wedding anniversary ?

Fancied a trip but bit short on time to search

what did you do for yours

20 - didn't do anything particularly.

Silver wedding, we had a party.

20th we happened to have got tickets for Wimbledon through the ballot for that day so it was a lovely day out!

25th coincides with both our 50ths! So maybe a party I don’t know.

Year one we went to Vancouver, year two we went to Edinburgh, year 20 we had a cheese toastie in Cafe Nero. Loved them all though!!

25th next month and we are off to Cyprus for two weeks.
We didnt do anything special for our 20th apart from going out for a meal.

20 didn’t get away (tricky teen)
25 we went back to honeymoon location for a week.

30 next year and thinking of going somewhere to have a short vow renewal and a holiday. I only celebrate my anniversary with DH, we never included the kids or friends. It’s just for us.

20th - although we both lived and worked in London we booked a hotel and became total tourists for the weekend inc:
Shard
London Steakhouse for lunch
Theatre
Dinner
Tower of London
Hotel sex

25 - managed to engineer being in Zanzibar following a safari on the day and my DSIL arranged flowers and cake with the hotel which was unexpected and lovely. DH did nothing!

This year (27) we'll be in Greece so will just go out to dinner somewhere a bit fancy.

For our 60ths we went to Rovinj in Croatia. Stayed at Hotel Park which was lovely.

20th don't recall
25th same year I turned 50 . We had a luxury weekend in the Lake District and a big family meal
40th Norwegian Fjords absolutely stunning

25th wedding anniversary, we went to London for 2 nights. No fancy hotel but we stayed on the south bank and had the most amazing time. We got married in December and Christmas in London is fabulous.

We normally go away, usually to the Isle of Wight.

Can’t remember for 20. Was it COVID times?
25 this year we are touring Tuscany over two weeks and will be in Florence on the day itself. Married 4 days before 9/11 so mindful it will be the 25th anniversary of that too.

20 years we had a weekend away from the kids in a local spa hotel (kids stayed with grandparents). Was lovely til realising I had Covid on the way home 🤦🏻‍♀️

25 years next month we're off to Norway for 4 days, leaving kids at home alone for first time. (16, 18, 20!)

It was the first month of lockdown.

DS cooked us steak and chips.
