What will the U18s of today vilify older generations for?

Boomers get a tough time for a myriad of things - irrespective if whether they had any control over them or not.

What will today’s generation blame us for? Brexit? Environment? Housing costs? Lockdown? Large numbers of children or their parents with long covid? Falling healthy life expectancy?

Banning from the internet, the very thing that they are expected to use as the primary tool for their jobs, social life, shopping, research etc as adults in the digital world. I think they will look back at all the pearl clutching and be very angry that they were under prepared for the world that their European peers got ahead in.

I understand that a new European law is going to be announced on Thursday banning children under 15 from using social media. So they might be behind the rest of the world (except Australia) but not the EU/EEA.
