No. I think France will win it.

I think they can and I think it would be absolutely wonderful for national morale. I’m not a huge football fan normally but there’s something special about the World Cup and the atmosphere. Their performance at the Azteca was incredible and really gave me hope that they can go all the way. Dare to dream!

Spain are my wildcard. I've said from the start of this tournament they will win (draw against Cape Verde notwithstanding)

Edited to add, I'm an England supporter and very happy for them to prove me wrong. I know weather conditions weren't good for us yesterday but we just didn’t look like "world beaters".

I can also imagine England beating Spain for third place, but I believe it’s still entirely possible that they win the overall tournament.

No but mostly because I don’t think anyone will stop France winning it. They are absolutely gunning for it and have the talent to back it up.

I mean, yes, it’s football, anything could happen in any game but you have to base assumptions on current performance. I’ll be surprised if we’re able to beat Argentina.
