Wonder if it tastes like chicken?

The meat must taste horrible. Nobody ever recommends killing a fox for food in this country (unless they are in a survival situation). Other animals are eaten (eg pheasants, deer) but foxes?

Fox poo stinks to high heaven, they are scavengers that eat all kinds of rubbish. Wouldn't fancy eating fox meat at all!

Has your council got park rangers. They'd deal with it I assume. If not just contact general customer service at council as a start and Im sure they'd guide you.

Bury it or double bag it and put it in the bin

I would’ve double bagged it and binned it. I know people are weird about bins on here but I think it’s fine if they smell because they have a lid. Or I would’ve put it on a verge and reported it to the council as they can easily deal with large dead animals. Poor fox

Ask your council, if they won't deal with it take it to waste ground and bury it.
