Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in the conservatory, with boy cat who has just been for a cuddle. Girl cat's gone back upstairs to try and pinch dd2's breakfast 🤣.

I've already had a potter round and tidy in the kitchen, and put the washer on. No uniform today though - last proper day on Monday so I'll wash when dd gets in & she can take it to donate to their "spares" box on Tuesday (own clothes for the final exam so they can do this).

Today's plan is to finish bedazzling dd's leavers shirt, make bracelets with her for each of the four in their friend group, and bedazzle heart sunglasses for their photos. If we're done early ish, I have some crafting of my own I'd like to get on with.

We need a small top-up shop so a walk down to Lidl is on the cards somewhere in there 🤔. At least, for me, dd might not want to come.

Dd1's working again today - she experienced the delights of trying to get back into Wembley after a big concert last night! She messaged to say it was a bit bonkers walking into such a big crowd, even on the edges of it 🤣.

Tonight may be something pasta based for tea, although I need to check what we actually have in first!

Well today I have got up and dressed and gone for a dog walk to a local cafe for tea and toast with husband. Didn’t have my step counter on but probably about 7k steps which is good for a weekend 😆

for those following my booktok side hustle- good news is I made £150 in commission this week (taking my total to £359- need to know for nosey-ness and tax purposes) plus 8 free books (that I wanted for me) and two kids boxsets that will eventually make their way to my class.
bad news , an IA bot has flagged a video and they have frozen my selling account for 48 hours… I have appealed but it’s a very slow process and would imagine that it’s back up and running before a human makes a decision. Annoying as last Saturday I made £60 commission… but will give me chance to make videos for the week ahead and clean my bathroom 😆

DS done a paper round , maths class and on his way to train spot for the afternoon.

dd still asleep, but will go to work at 1 untill close today.

dh has made me a brew and gone to the allotment.

called in at the coop for lasagne ingredients for tea and yoghurts bananas and crisps for lunch next week - £25 later 🙄🙄

Good morning @lucysmam & everyone. Beautiful day here in Cornwall - hurrah! It’s been so cold & wet! I was awake early as per with DH but went back to sleep after he left for work. This tiredness is quite debilitating. Will be glad when I discover the cause of my anaemia. Have generally pottered since I got up & have loaded the dishwasher but it’s not full yet. A load of washing is ready to hang out. The postman delivered a parcel which was a TJC ring I’d completely forgotten I’d ordered. I have vowed to stop buying stuff indefinitely, especially Vinted which is totally addictive. Seeing a friend later & we’re going to a private garden which is only open on certain days. Tea & cake will definitely be involved. After she leaves I’ll pop to Tescos. DH & I are away for a couple of days next week so I don’t have a long list. Nice easy tea of battered jumbo fishfingers, chips & beans. Will probably go out this evening to make the most of the light - maybe watch the sunset somewhere 🌅 I haven’t seen DD17 yet & not sure what her plans are. Have a great Saturday all ❤️

The weather is a bit better here but certainly not the heatwave that the BBC was suggesting. 21c and not pissing down, so I'll take that.

Just back from swimming, DC2 swam earlier today (otherwise I'm at the pool until 1.15pm on Saturday's!) So we have a free afternoon.

Going to nip out shortly and grab some stuff for an impromptu picnic and then we're going for a canal walk / picnic / adventure playground. Then home for all the chores I am currently ignoring.

Kids have homemade burgers for dinner and I'm going to order a Thai for myself, will have any leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

I'm sure the kids would have used up all their screentime allowance by this evening so it will be puzzles / colouring in / board games later.

Trying to really crack down on the amount of screentime so once it's gone, it's gone. I am sure it's harder for me!!

I went out to get a cinnamon bun and accidentally got some french toast too!

Good afternoon I’m late today as have had a morning changing beds cleaning rite thru but all done now . I’m sending husband to shops for meat for dinner tomorrow and I’m planning sitting outside reading . Looking forward to a few wines later . Have a great and safe day all 🫶
