Early in a relationship a man cut his toenails in front of me and my desire for him pinged out the window as his toenails pinged around the room.

It wasn’t just the plucking. Each time he pulled out a hair he made an even stupider face and then relaxed back into gormless once it was out.

Told me, with great affection, like he was doing me a huge favour, that he would 'just follow me with work' and 'I will just get a job in a shop or something'. Also - did a big snotty sneeze all over his hand, then started licking it off like a dog. Was fully mid open tongue lick when I went "what are you doing?!?!" He'd apparently forgotten I was next to him and could see everything. He said "there's no tissues around!" We were in my student bedroom which had a sink in it.

Same guy - what a prince. Rest of his behaviour was even worse. I look back and don't know which urge is stronger, to cringe, vomit or give my younger self a good shake!
