Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my conservatory spot, after a nice lie in with boy cat 😊. He's just eating his breakfast now.

Dd2's been up ages and done the majority of the small jobs I would have done while making my cuppa. She's just eating breakfast then getting dressed, & I'll get dressed after my cuppa.

Today's job is to build the wardrobe for the girls bedroom! It's in five massive boxes. But first we need to remove both current wardrobes & the furniture that's coming out of the room. That'll probably take all day.

Later on, I'm off for drinks and food at a friend's house for the evening. I'm walking with another friend so we'll probably leave before it gets too dark. It'll be bedtime when I get in, so I can get up earlyish tomorrow and crack on finishing the hallway walls.

Afternoon
H and youngster out early to chase a ball around so we started daybreak bickering over waterproof ponchos!
I had to take eldest to market for steel toe boots and workman trousers for work experience and we have to go back tomorrow for youngster’s office wear
It’s pissing down outside but that’s ok have the weekend teen, been prepping a Mexican buffet and the custard layer on trifle us chilling (kitchen goddess)
Then we have to watch The Godfather later a marathon of a film but very good

Good evening @lucysmam & everyone. Another Saturday! Not long home from a pretty quiet shift (I thought it would be really busy because of the rain but actually people were being cautious as there was a yellow weather warning). Felt so sorry for all the traders at The Royal Cornwall Show which was cancelled today. I was awake really early again & made a cuppa for me & DH who didn’t start work until 11. Tidied the kitchen a bit & did the dishwasher. Went to visit DM in her new care home. It seems to be going well although it was sad that she had to move. Had another cuppa but it was way too milky. I’m very particular about my Rosie Lee! DM was on great form. Nice to see DF too when he got back from Lidl. Tinned soup for lunch. After work I bought a Dr Oetker pizza for tea in Iceland. DH is having one from Tescos. DD17 will sort herself. She had a meal deal that I bought her this morning for lunch. Might watch a film tonight as bugger all on tv!

Evening all, I didn’t even click today was Saturday until I noticed this post just now. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I had a full hysterectomy on Tuesday so I’ve just been recovering since then and not really been paying attention to the days.

We’ve got the Scotland match on the TV now and I’m just hoping we don’t end up with more injuries before the World Cup starts.

I ran 10k this morning, it was fucking hard as I was trying to beat the sun. Then, I had to go into work and deal with a complete arsehole of a customer all morning. I sorted him out though (fuck you Bob) and went to the gym 💪
