Just been chatting to friends about sex and it varies so much between us all. Some of them don’t have sex for months and some of them all the blinking time. I’ve been with my hubby for 23 years and I still fancy him and want sex a few times a week. What’s everyone else doing in their 40’s??

None! DP has a low sex drive and I also just CBA. Would rather read my book.

1-3 times a week. I'd happily have more. I feel the same about sex as I did in my twenties.

50 - trying to maintain once a week. tricky now the kids stay up as late or later than us. WFH is keeping the magic alive. After years of most sex coming after a glass of wine or three, totally sober sex is whole different kind of fun!

Nothing for over 5 years and quite happy about that (single). Not worth everything that can come with it. Used to be 1-2 times a day with the ex.

How does everyone have the time? DH makes sure I get a good 20 minutes of foreplay and then I’m sure the actual sex takes a while. I’m going to time it to see how long it takes us.

I agree. Someone said 10 times a week! I think I'd have to be hospitalised after 10 times a week. And where am I going to find time for more important things like watching TV, gardening and browsing MN?

In my 20s I had sex probs twice a week and it was dreadful.
