Dp secretly using nicotine pouches

So. We are on holiday and my dp is secretly using nicotine pouches. He’s acting really weird keep going to his bag and his body language is just peculiar whilst he’s trying to sneak them.

for reference he doesn’t smoke but this seems to be a newish habit for him. We don’t live together which is why I’ve never noticed how much he relies on them. I think he does have an addictive personality as he’s a very heavy drinker. Functioning alcoholic perhaps.

i feel he’s making me out to be stupid that I won’t notice the little pouches. He’s tried to say when I’ve pointed what you eating out that they’re mints.

Yesterday he made out he was going back to the room to use the loo but he went to the shop to buy more. Why doesn’t he just admit it?

Why are the nicotine pouches any of your business? Why does he feel like he needs to hide them?

It's not a big deal and it is his business if he wants to do it. But of course there's no need to be so secretive. Just laugh and say 'stop trying to sneak those bloody things I know you use them I don't care!' then change the subject.

Just tell him to stop sneaking around with them and put them in his pocket if he wants to use them.

Why is it an issue that he’s using it? Would you prefer he smoked cigarettes?

@TwoHoots74 i think your holiday is already spoiled with him sneaking about. Can you come home early?

For gods sake it’s nicotine pouches, not heroin. This is such a non issue.
