I would have to say Daniel Craig

Jake Gyllenhaal. Those lips …

Controversial seeing as he has proved himself to be such a dick, but Owen Wilson, especially in his younger days. Also Matt Bomer. And while we're at it with the Matts, Matt Damon just gets better with age.

What's Owen done?

ladyrinths · 24/05/2026 09:10

I don’t really crush on the actual celebs because I don’t know much about them but I like some of the characters they play.

Tom hardy in most films but particularly Taboo.
Henry Cavil in Tudors

I like David Morrisey. Always have done since 'One Summer' days. And James Norton, specifically in breeches.

Oooooh yes, David Morrisey is really attractive.

Forgot to mention in previous post: Paul Rudd. Delicious! And Colin Firth, obvs.

Eppingatones · 26/05/2026 20:11

Christopher Briney
Jung Kook

Neither age-appropriate crushes.

Cough Yungblud cough

I know it’s wrong. Is it though? How wrong?

ManyShapesOfPasta · 26/05/2026 20:23

Harry Styles.

Arlanymor · 26/05/2026 20:30

Ralph Fiennes - yes even now. He's magnetic isn't he?

Also weirdly, his birthday is the day before my mum's and my birthday is the day before his (late) mum's. I mean it's destiny isn't it?

I usually go for chunky rugby chaps, so it's a bit unusual for me to like his type. Also I think he has a middle name that is something like Twistleton... sounds very posh, I am from the Welsh valleys. It would never work!

Although... I would like a chance to try at least!

Joe Wilkinson. Since long before traitors

Get in line! 😄

My main crush used to be Leonardo DiCaprio, from about 1995, up to about 3-4 years ago. Was always a very pretty man, and seemed a fairly nice guy (still does really.) But his constant habit of dating women who are 18 to 21, and then ditching them when they hit 25 has given me the ick. Wasn't so bad when he was 27-30 and she was 21-22, but when he's 50, and she's 21-22, it's a bit like... 🤢

He gets older, and older (52 this year,) but the girls don't. They're now coming in at 30-32 years younger than him... He seems to be refusing to grow up and accept that he is now past middle age. He doesn't appeal to me anymore, because of the constant row of assembly line carbon copy young models that he dates and ditches, and never goes any further than dating with. I am guessing that they may be 'beards' and if they are I wish Leo would just come out and admit it. Or at least stop the silly constant dating of girls who are almost 2 generations younger than him at this point!

tl;dr

I used to fancy Brad Pitt at the same time, and still do...... Grin

Tom Hardy of course.

Heath Ledger was gorgeous.

So was River Phoenix.

Johnny Depp. 😍

Are you me?

AuraBora · 26/05/2026 20:48

I adore Simon Reeve..not sure if hes been mentioned.
I've told my DH this...as actually they are really similar!
He is really intelligent, empathetic, kind and also nice looking (I like slim, wiry men!)

IStoleTheBandwagon · 26/05/2026 20:51

Jean Jacques Burnel. He's 20 years older than me, but I've been besotted with him since about 1981! My first and longest lasting crush.
Met him a few times. He's just sooooo lovely!
I'm going to marry him. He just doesn't know it yet 😁
I would drop EVERYTHING if he asked me tomorrow 🤣

Rosa1211 · 26/05/2026 21:00

What's wrong with wrong? He's mesmerising and I wish I were forty years younger; although I believe he is attracted to older women.

Squirrelchops1 · 26/05/2026 21:04

Matthew Mcconaughy. As well as being handsome, good at his job he seems really interesting when I've heard him in interviews.

Youllnevergetabetterbitofbutteronyourknife · 26/05/2026 21:06

I don't often get crushes, but I got a huge one on Nicola Walker after watching her in Unforgotten, then in River. Her face is mesmerising 🥰

Gordan Buchanan.

RepublicOfPirates · 26/05/2026 21:10

Marcus Mumford, because he is damn gorgeous.

Dontlletmedownbruce · 26/05/2026 21:11

Jason Donovan. Still...after all these years. My 12 yr old heart never moved on

Ben Fogle - love blond men and his type

Poor Ben because he seems nice but he is absolutely the type I really do not fancy!

Sadly he's not nice. He is the typical media 'I love myself' kind of lad. I've had the unpleasant experience of working with him twice. Maybe he's nicer now, but he wasn't four years ago.

Calliopespa · 26/05/2026 21:19

I kind of get the Jay Rayner thing. Can't say it has crossed over to fancying Jay for me, BUT that Bear-like magnetic type, preferably dark and a bit byronic, and I can see he shares some of that DNA.

For me I'd go more for Marco!

And Johnny Depp just has something that won't die - even after poo smeared on his sheets or whatever nonsense it was.

Oh is he not nice? Then I'll go all out and say he looks like a mummy's boy from Fulham to me!
