The Ukrainian Flamingo missile is reported to have a range of up to 3,000 km and carry a warhead of about one ton. Its estimated cost is around $500,000, significantly lower than comparable systems such as the Tomahawk.

🇬🇧Britain is developing long-range weapons for Ukraine without American components, Bloomberg sources say.
Three new weapon systems are being developed under the Brakestop project, which London launched at the end of 2024 to accelerate arms supplies to Kyiv.
Testing is planned for the coming months in both the UK and Ukraine, and the new weapons could appear on the front lines within a year.
The new systems will be capable of carrying warheads weighing at least 225 kg and striking targets at a range of over 500 km. The cost of one missile, excluding the warhead, is estimated at approximately $530,000.

The Kyivan Pechersk Lavra has partially resumed operations for visitors following the Russian strike.

At total aside, FWIW etc and probably not the case here but pink has been used as a camouflage colour at times on aircraft since WW2, if not before..

This commentator (Paul Warburg) talks about the fuel crisis in Russia. The Moscow oil refinery that blew its top off apparently supplied jet fuel to airports around Moscow, that is why it is in the heart of Moscow. This will disrupt the summer holidays of the average Russian citizen over summer, the peak travel and fuel demand season. Ukraine's strategy is not to kill or hurt Russian civilians (well not directly) as this will bring the Russians closer together and want to fight. Instead Ukraine's stratefy is to massively inconvenience the ordinary Russians' lives and being the war to Moscow. Crimea is a big vacation hotspot for which Russians have a strong emotional pull. In Crimea, people are pushing cars as there is no fuel. I guess Crimea is not on the vacation map for Russians this summer. Poor diddums.
