It was actually part of the reason I binned him off.

It must get boring singing the same overplayed songs over and over again, but that's what the fans want, and they have made him rich. It's phenomenally boring serving coffees to customers all day, but if that's your job, that's what you do to earn (a minuscule nano-fraction of Robbie's) money!

I've always hated Saturday Night by Whigfield ever since it first came out. It's so monotonous. You keep waiting for it to build and develop and go on to the next contrasting 'movements' of the song (are they even called that with pop songs?!), but they never ever come, and the song just ends.

Unhealthy by Anne-Marie, it absolutely enrages me. At risk of sounding like I'm 157 years old, what kind of message is that for teenage girls, 'ooh you hurt me, you're so bad for me, my entire family is telling me to run but even if it kills me you're still my man'. Fuck all the way off with that shit.

I'm not sure how you can put Let it Be and Cotton Eye Joe in the same list!😂

The original Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen is fantastic, the version by ..... a woman who won Xfactor (cant remember, never watched it!) was absolutely AWFUL.

It took a subtle meaningful song and turned it into a power ballad that even Mariah Carey would say was over doing it.

I can't agree with Hallelujah. Leonard Cohen knew exactly what he was saying in that song , it's meaningful, full of references to Judaism, his faith, love & it's a profound song about the human condition. It's not some meaningless nonsense sung by a person who didn't understand the meaning. Which a certain person turned it into.

The god awful cover of Phil Lynott's fabulous Old Town by the Corrs. Add to that their dreary rendition ofFleetwood Mac's Dreams too. 😡

Anything at all by Dr Hook (shudder)

Has anyone said that dreadful theme from 'Titanic' yet? With the truly awful wailing Celine Dion.

And weirdly, ‘Get Here’ by Oleta Adams. It has the stupidest lyrics I’ve ever heard. My friend and her husband didn’t have a special song, so at their wedding, she left the first dance choice to the band. They did this. Her face was a picture. 😂

REM songs for me are either absolutely brilliant (Orange Crush is a favourite) or complete crap.

Shiny Happy People is that perfect storm of a crap REM song and that REALLY irritating woman from B52s!
