If this existed, would you buy it?

Imagine Mondelez brought out a Premium Cadbury’s which was Old Recipe but was £££ would you buy it?

I don’t work for them or anything but it seems to me that they are missing a trick with all the complaints about the quality now. The quality has gone down due to the price of ingredients going up hence the potential to turn it in to a luxury product
with a Extra Special Edition

what other things that don’t exist would you buy if they did?

Not so much don't exist, but unavailable.
e.g. lambs' brains, sweetbreads.
I'm sure sheep are born with all their innards, but where the fuck are they for sale?

I worked with a woman once from Eastern Europe she got all that sort of thing after making herself known to an independent butcher and asking.

Didn’t they deny the recipe changed?

They certainly don’t still advertise ‘A Glass And A Half Of Milk In Every One’

Meh, haven’t noticed Flakes being like the old stuff. Freddos sometimes taste reminiscent of it. I am told, in the Cadbury’s lore, you can still buy the original recipe CDM in Ireland - perhaps someone can confirm if this is just a wicked rumour? 🤔

I can confirm that I bought some of the said Irish Cadbury chocolate off eBay a couple of months ago - £12 for two 55g bars!

My conclusion was that it tastes about halfway between current Cadbury, and Cadbury of the 80s - in other words, it was definitely nicer than the shit they make now (but still not the same and defo not worth the price).

My dad worked for Cadbury in the 60s and would bring home little brown paper sacks of various bars deemed imperfect and sold to staff for pennies. We were the most popular kids in the street! Also, he would have this residual chocolaty smell about him, his hugs were delicious.

Probably not but I might if they did the proper original recipe Bournville one with the gold and red paper and foil wrapping. None of the plastic packaging though, it's far less satisfying.

Why do mandolins slice your fingers?! Had a lovely cut from one earlier this year, the blood was like a river!

Doisy and Daim do double D’s which are like M&Ms, you used to be able to buy them in Holland and Barrett, my current fave is Harris and James salted caramel chocolate 🍫 mmmmm.
