Getting rid of my jowls is the plan!

I also am hoping to lessen my double chin - not sure if it'll work though as it is quite bad

Not sure if I should try to lift my eyelids?

Experiences very much appreciated

I’d be worried about chipmunk cheeks! Plus if you have a facelift, having had lots of filler can make it more difficult.

Well I have no plans for a facelift nor will I put filler in again and the filler that I had has now dispersed

Thank you for posting those pictures @user746016 - I can really see the difference!!
And it looks very natural - no massive puffer fish/ square-face at all 😁

Was it 5ml just in the jaw area or did that include the cheeks too?

Edited

That was jawline, chin and cheeks. It wasn’t cheek filler as such, it wasn’t to make my cheeks bigger it was to lift the jawline. I’m pretty sure it was 5ml, I will try to check. The white blobs on the photo show where she injected

HDHSHK237 · 05/03/2026 22:10

Ah ok thanks, I see what you mean about the cheek filler

I have had a consultation obvs, but it helps to see the "real deal" with your pictures 🙏

I can’t find the details but it was either 5 or 6ml. I felt like I’d been punched in the face for about two weeks so be prepared for that.

I would never get actual face fillers like cheeks etc but I do have my chin and nose done every year for the past 4 years (chin helps get rid of my double chin 😂)

How does it get rid of a double chin?

I have never seen anyone with fillers who didn't look like a puffer fish. Jim Carrey?

😂🤣🤣 I just spat my brew out laughing!

Honestly people are spiteful twats and I suspect are no raging beauties themselves.

good luck OP, I hope you get the results you are hoping for. Don’t go overboard with too much at once and you’ll be fine.

But that’s because when people have well done filler you don’t know they have it.

OP I have filler to lift jowls. It’s subtle but made a huge overall difference. I also have it in my nasal lines and the tiniest amount in my top lip. Even my own mum hasn’t noticed, although I did avoid her for two weeks after the lip filler because it takes a while to settle. Like someone else said, I also get Sculptura and Profhilo to improve deeper collagen.

I hate to sound a note of caution, but… I had a delayed onset immune reaction to it. I went to a highly reputable injector (practising doctor). I can’t imagine what would have become of me if I’d been in a spa setting.

I had Revanesse injected into my jawline. It took a couple of weeks to settle. I wasn’t delighted with the results, it is extra volume and I felt my face lost some of its femininity. Please believe me when I say my injector is top of their game, but there’s no magic bullet for jowls, only a magic scalpel! Nothing bar surgery will give you the result you want.

The reaction I had is uncommon, but it is a risk seldom talked about. I had the filler in the June of that year and that following Christmas I had a very slight swelling along the left side, no pain, but some warmth. 10 days later my face started getting symptoms of a delayed immune reaction, waking up one morning with severe swelling and impaired speech (due to the hardened and impacted filler). I commenced a course of Doxycycline and had a first dissolving session which resulted in an improvement in my chin but not the swelling either side of it for some weeks. It was bloody miserable, and then the six year old filler in my cheek started playing up, resulting in further severe swelling. I had granulomas too in my jaw. My face felt full of marbles. I was so incredibly lucky not to have a bio-film (infection) around the filler, which meant I could be treated. Nonetheless I was on antibiotics for 3 months. I implore anyone who is considering fillers to absolutely consider the consequences. They are not a benign natural self-dissolving nothingnessness. They are hardcore, and when they go wrong it’s a circle of hell.

This is a better way of explaining the effect I felt and is why I wouldn't personally do it again. In adding to and squaring off my jawline it was more defined but felt less feminine. I wasn't used to the extra bulk at the side of my face.

StephensLass1977 · 06/03/2026 07:58

I've had lip filler, Profilho, and forehead Botox. I have to say that, FOR ME, none of it worked, or at least, lasted. I saw no different at all with the Profilho, the lip filler wore off after a couple of weeks, and the Botox also faded after a month.

It was a very expensive experiment, and I persisted with the Botox (not the others) to see if it got better with repeated sessions (correctly spaced out) but it didn't.

Now I have nothing at all done. I read this can happen when you have a high metabolism, but try telling my weight that before I lost two stone through cutting out most fatty foods, spinning every day, and a course of Orlistat!

sociableintrovert123 · 06/03/2026 08:02

@user746016 that looks really good and subtle! Good luck OP-maybe just do one area at a time to make sure you are happy before proceeding. I think the tide is turning a bit now in that fewer people are getting fillers and saving for facelifts instead.

Traceysgoingtobelivid · 06/03/2026 10:37

I really want my thin lips enhanced, ageing has made them disappear, however when I looked into filler there is a chance, an incredibly small one but a possibility none the less that the filler inadvertently hits an artery that it cuts off the blood supply to your eyes and cause instant irreversible blindness. I know millions have it done and are absolutely fine but for me I think I will have to stick with thin lips.

pinkteddy · 06/03/2026 12:03

Louis Spence has had endolift done. Lots of info on his instagram. He had it done for jowls and seems to have recovered very quickly.

Do people need to be raging beauties though? Does it matter if someone is a bit ‘uglier’ than someone else? Or has wrinkles or jowls?

It’s up to the OP what she chooses to do and that’s fine, but it is quite sad that women feel this way.

You could have a lip lift.
