Sadly this is no longer true. With the boom of "trendy" cross-breeds, the resulting puppies are often born with physical and behavioural problems that have been bred into the genetic line.

Your once-average mongrel on entirely mysterious and unknown parentage might indeed be genetically & behaviourally healthier but the now-average cross-breed is not.

Surely they’re no different than a vertical escalator, they’re just flat and horizontal.

The ones I’ve seen always have walkways next to them, for people who choose to walk.
Why not just walk fast on them.

The moving walkway is surely so you can choose to stand still and have a break from dragging heavy luggage around etc.

Obviously like escalators you can walk on them too but if you’re wanting to walk the entire time then just walk on the normal floor.

Semi serious hill....Bikes on roads are dangerous. Cyclists should have to pass some sort of qualification before they're allowed to inconvenience car drivers. They should also be insured.
