I love it. It’s full of tactics. Much more like chess on ice than bowls on ice. And Team GB are good at it. Curling all the way!

The shouting does my head in.
My dh has been watching it and I have to leave the room, it is so annoying

I just don’t understand it at all. How do you even get in to curling and discover a passion for it, it’s so niche!

You go down to your local rink (I appreciate not all areas have an ice rink let alone a curling rink) and sign up for some lessons.
You can then usually join a (social/hobby) team.
I used to play - about 10 years ago. I gave up when I fell pregnant but I still have my curling shoes!
It's fun.
I was pretty rubbish so in a team of 4 I played the first two stones (guard stones) which were then usually knocked out of play. I did win my clubs double tournament one year though! 🏆

Unless you live in Scotland it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever come across a curling rink. I’m pretty sure all GB curlers are Scottish.
