Following Katie Price’s engagement posts. She’s just split from JJ slater - now she’s engaged to some Dubai businessmen. At first I thought the posts were AI , but upon further inspection ( see : time wasting ) he is a real person with a Facebook account that has been active for some time, as is his mothers it seems - so he is real.

But , surely this is some kind of publicity stunt ? I have always liked her but it just seems a bit ridiculous at 47 years of age if it is ?

No. They have been living with Pete for a long time. They have been at school a long time. They aren't in a war zone, stop making excuses for lazy parenting

Yes, because all of us with tramtic childhoods and bad relationships in the past are fame hungry and will do anything to get attention at the expense of her kids welfare.
I think in the real world most of us get medical help and get on with life.

I do feel sorry for her and I feel she’s vulnerable and the media take advantage of this, of course she loves it all because she’s mentally unwell, she’s being taken advantage of and made to look like a fool for people to laugh at.

I agree with who ever said she has autism/adhd, I don’t believe she’s a narcissist and I believe she loves her children (though she needs to be sterilised). Not being able to hold down a relationship, not being able to regulate her spending and finances, living in a messy home and being obsessed with surgery are all possible ADHD traits? She probably has a lot of other things going on too, possibly a personality disorder.

Everyone who reads her stories, posts about them online (here) and follow her stories are just feeding her and the media.

She feeds the media. She calls the paps to get the photo. She sells her stories to the papers. It’s the only way she can make money given that 40% of her income taken straight to her bankruptcy.

People often get the two conditions confused because they can appear similar and often misdiagnosed.

People cope in different ways though, don't they? I'm not saying her behaviour is OK, it isn't, especially not with kids in the mix. It's not an effective coping strategy at all, but we all know some people do deal with trauma by seeking the validation they lack from others. Unfortunate for someone in the public eye because it sets up a whole toxic vicious circle. She really needs proper medical help though, I'll agree with you there.

I did a Google search for Junior and his song came out in 2023 with nothing happening since in spite of Peter's best efforts. It sounds like he's dedicated himself to the alter of TikTok now.

He's only 20 and so there's time for him and Princess to grow and find their path, which hopefully they will because they're mums experience of the public eye should show then that it doesn't last forever.

I've just watched a video of them and he's not the suave businessman he appears in photos. Filters are doing a lot of heavy lifting for the pair of them.

People say this all the time and I never know what they mean. She has HAD help, many many times. She's seen private psychiatrists, private counsellors, private therapists.

She's had a few stints in the Priory which is a private and very, very expensive psychiatric hospital which deals with mental health issues and addictions where she would have had access to all kinds of expensive mental health professionals 24/7. She easily has the money for ongoing therapy every day for the rest of her life if she so wanted it.

She's HAD help, so much of it but you cannot force people to change their lives if they dont want to!

The priory also provides a large range of NHS services too.

Yes it does but generally for inpatient its private and costs a lot of money and KP has talked about admitting herself there privately

To have had the amount of professional help she's had and still be the train crash that she is, she must really not think there's anything wrong with her. Otherwise she'd listen, take advice, change her ways. But she really can't, she's beyond help because she can't listen.

Fair. Maybe my comment should have read that she needs to be open to proper medical help.

My heart goes out to KP. i know many may not agree.
She seems a very damaged, traumatised woman.
The multiple, acrimonious,public relationship breakdowns,being cheated on and ? cheating, the drugs, the severe lomg term mental health ill issues,the lack of impulse control, the hoarding,the physical health issues, raising a child with complex medical needs,her mums life limiting illness, on top of being SA as a child......I imagine her family are very worried about her and are powerless to help her. I fear her life could be in danger and i think her fame prevents her being helped. If she were an ordinary person i think she would have been sectioned under mental health .

I was wondering about that. The documentary said she'd been in the priory but is she actually unwell enough to have people Actually Intervene and do a tough love thing on her behaviour.

I find KP totally unlikeable and always have, but it's sad and disturbing to see what's happened to her.

I suspect beneath the coarse persona there was a young women who was already damaged and ripe for abuse when she started out.

Are people seriously saying that there are images online of men in Dubai taking a dump on her, or on some other poor woman? That this is a known thing? Men in Dubai paying to shit on mentally ill women? Seriously?

At this stage I am really wondering what kind of hell-hole Dubai is. It sounds like a giant depraved brothel staffed by slaves, where violent drug dealers on the run from law enforcement perform gross acts on desperate & ill women. Why would any decent person ever go on ‘holiday’ to such a place?

Can't work up much sympathy - the animal neglect, the drink-driving and driving while banned etc. She's made enough money over the years - why did she think she didn't have to live within her means like the rest of us?
