As above, what wouldn't you sell or change for a billion £?

Mine - my wonderful cats😻

My son. Should probably say my husband too...but for a billion pounds, I could be tempted 🤔

bugalugs45 · 24/01/2026 17:43

My dog doesn’t have a price tag, everything else is negotiable 🤣

Whatineed · 24/01/2026 18:32

DS, ddog, my grandmother's Ruby ring, letters my grandad wrote me in University.

Other than people nothing.

This

For a billion pounds? They could probably have DH!Grin

But they couldn't have my dd for any amount of money.

SleepingStandingUp · 24/01/2026 18:39

Asked husband.
"the children"
The child "well spoken! Very well spoken!"
Guess we're keeping the 10 yo

Cornishclio · 24/01/2026 18:40

Apart from my family the only other thing I wouldn’t part from for money would be my health and photographs of memories. Everything else is replaceable.

Darlinghag · 24/01/2026 18:45

Assuming people are excluded (and i don’t have a husband/children anyway) - it would be my dog.

Everything is on the table for that money except her!

BloodyHellBob · 24/01/2026 18:47

I wouldn’t sell DS but everything else is up for grabs at a billion £££ Grin

devildeepbluesea · 24/01/2026 18:47

My doggo.

DD isn’t mine to sell.

Everything else could be bought back!

To clarify the 'rules' 😄 - as my OP says "own or have in your life" and "sell or change" - you can include people if you like! E.g. if you have a partner, would you agree to split up and never see them again for £1 billion?

My six cats.

TheTVisneverbigenough · 24/01/2026 18:48

For billion?
I love DH dearly but...
I would sell even him for that😂
Would give him share😂

SooticaTheWitchesCat · 24/01/2026 18:50

My cat too. Although I certainly don’t own him 😻

BooksandCats123 · 24/01/2026 18:52

My son (want to say husband but I’m not sure) if the terms were he’d still be healthy and happy then I probably would.
Other than that I would sell anything, I’d be gutted about the DC photos but I’m telling myself I’d replace them with amazing photos in my new life as a billionaire.
Plus I think my DS would be pretty pissed if he found out I’d turned down a billion in favour of photos of him in a baby grow covered in weetabix!

blankcanvas3 · 24/01/2026 18:59

My DC, my DH and my parent. Everything else is replaceable

Clostarma · 24/01/2026 19:04

I'm shameless, there's nothing that I wouldn't give up. I'd be quite content on my own with money and staff.

Christwosheds · 24/01/2026 19:16

Aside from my dog, old family photographs.

Davesmum2021 · 24/01/2026 19:22

My dog.

MylipstickiscalledHugMe · 24/01/2026 19:24

Would people sell their knowledge, skills and life experience for a billion pounds, and reset their brain back to how it was at 18 years old?

I'm 50 and I'm not sure I would. Though still pondering it.

lifeisgoodrightnow · 24/01/2026 19:24

Husband, children , dogs , friends. I love my life and wouldn’t swap it.

Fruitpastelsyum · 24/01/2026 19:25

Erin1975 · 24/01/2026 09:39

For £1 billion I cannot think of anything I wouldn't part with.

Me neither

Tbh yes probably because I'd have a billion quid and I wouldn't need to work so 30 years of experience in my sector would not be required. I'd also be super optimistic rather than bitter and cynical and have a wild time with all my spends😂

EmeraldDreams73 · 24/01/2026 19:28

My dog, dh and dds.

Plus one or two family antiques, my jewellery (not worth much but sentimental). Otherwise, bring on the dosh.

firstofallimadelight · 24/01/2026 19:28

I can’t think of anything I own that I would keep over a billion but we had a house fire and lost 80% of our belongings so I already learnt that as long as those you love are safe the rest doesn’t matter
