As above, what wouldn't you sell or change for a billion £?

Mine - my wonderful cats😻

I wouldn't sell a person, stranger or family. I couldn't enjoy a penny of my money knowing I'd done that to someone. Unless, of course, they wanted to be bought!
My dogs too.
No one would want to buy my body.So i'm not worried about that!
I would sell any inanimate objects in a heart beat.

VimesandhisCardboardBoots · 24/01/2026 10:21

People.

The sodding cat would be gone in a heartbeat.

Luckyingame · 24/01/2026 10:30

My own space, privacy, autonomy and intact body (no children).
My boundaries.
Thinking about it, a billion pounds you said?
My husband is a very decent man. But a billion.. hmmmm ......😆😆

PlumDeNomNomNom · 24/01/2026 10:32

There is nothing I value more than £1billion 🤣🤣🤣🤣

NoraLuka · 24/01/2026 10:34

As soon as I read the title of the thread I thought of my cats! Older cat would miss us and the younger one came to us when he was 5 weeks old and still tries to sleep curled up under my chin even though he’s a bit too big now. Couldn’t part with them.

stollenisthebest · 24/01/2026 10:42

Peace of mind. The ability to go to bed every night with a clear conscience and not worrying about anything is priceless. I really feel for people who have anxieties/worries swirling around their heads constantly.

Good health.

People (obviously).

FairyGardensx · 24/01/2026 10:53

My mental peace.

theprincessthepea · 24/01/2026 10:53

The kids

They can have everything else.

My family threw away my childhood teddy when I was an adult - so it would have been that, but now they can take it all haha

Immediately thoughts
dog and husband

My dog absolutley not, husband maybe 😂

BeaSure · 24/01/2026 09:30

So what terms could I sell DH on?

Reluctant sale of older model by mostly mostly careful lady owner.
Comfortable though dull ride due to extensive upholstery added over the past 20 years.
Ears may need to be replaced as they are nonfunctional.
On-off system unreliable. Needs to be started by hand.

Will trade for wine.

Octavia64 · 24/01/2026 11:22

My cats.

i’d sell my dd for a quid

ilovepixie · 24/01/2026 12:40

My dog. I’d sell everything else even my family 😂😂

Ipsevenenabibas · 24/01/2026 12:46

My family including the dog.
A demand of apostasy.
My body; my soul.
My privacy and my independence.
Any material thing I could let go of quite easily!

Creamteasandbumblebees · 24/01/2026 17:12

Aside from Hubby, kids and dogs, I'd never part with the tea set i inherited from my Nanny, my wedding and engagement rings (also inherited) or my childrens first (and still very special) teddies.

maddiemookins16mum · 24/01/2026 17:13

This.

What do you own or have in your life that you wouldn't sell for £1 billion?
LookingThroughGlass · 24/01/2026 17:16

Great to see so many £1 billion cats and dogs on the thread!

ThatWasMyLastFatFreeFrush · 24/01/2026 17:19

Child and dog.

FatFoxie · 24/01/2026 17:21

I've got a few family heirlooms that I really, really value - but a billion pounds really is a lot of money; it would be life changing for everyone.
I wouldn't sell them for a £million, I don't think - but £billion, I think I might have to; I would probably enjoy all of my kids being set up in a nice house of their choice, and DH and both able to retire in style, more than owning the family silver.

Ricecrispiesatsix · 24/01/2026 17:23

My health.

Idontspeakgermansorry · 24/01/2026 17:23

Other than family, nothing. I would sell the cat for one billion 🤷‍♀️. The cat could go for much less actually.

MyThreeWords · 24/01/2026 17:23

Dog
All relevant humans, obvs
I would part with my pet birds for £1 billion (or even considerably less). Sorry Daz. Sorry Barney. Sorry Atticus.

There are loads of things that I wouldn't change for £1 billion. But that is probably because I am lucky enough to have enough money to live ok. What difference would a billion make if you already have enough?

RaininSummer · 24/01/2026 17:23

Nothing. Edited to say excluding family

Gribouille · 24/01/2026 17:27

SusanSHelit · 24/01/2026 10:16

My son, my cat and my body or any part of it other than perhaps my blood and hair. I'd totally sell my blood and my hair for a billion

For a billion quid I could probably spare a kidney...

My darling kitty died a month ago 😥 and I wouldn't part with her for that (but the vet bills were getting to the stage where my kidney sale might have become a necessity...). 😳

Swampthing55 · 24/01/2026 17:27

Nothing

Specialagentblond · 24/01/2026 17:32

I would sell my DH but not my children. Or my body or sanity.

I would sell my DH because he would definitely sell me.
