His statement pretty much confirms what I've always thought was going on behind the facade. He talks about the crippling anxiety he's suffered throughout his childhood into adulthood. I can quite understand that, propelled into the limelight from the earliest age and having to grow up in a goldfish bowl at a time as a teenager, like so many of his peer group he was still trying to find his way, but unlike them his every move was picked over and ridiculed. Most of us can cast our minds back to that age to know that we weren't always brimming with confidence and how much harder those times would have been to be under constant public scrutiny. For the first time I think I can see it from his side, particularly as regards feeling aggrieved for his parents marginalising his wife. What was Victoria thinking of?, as a mother of sons, what the heck never go head to head with the woman in your son's life and try and trounce her otherwise you'll lose and forever be the embodiment of the hated mother in law.

There has been a trail of famous kids who've had their lives ruined by pushy parents. I just wonder how they're going to come back from this or whether they're just going to soldier on lining up Harper as the next lamb to the slaughter.
I've never really understood why the Beckhams have been lauded as magnificent parents, maybe they won't be the case anymore now this has all rebounded on them.

Even If it is a sham, it is their decision. The same for affairs - their private decision to stay together, should be respected. It’s up to public whether to buy their brand/products or not.
It takes incredible talent and focus to earn a million from scratch, never mind 500 million. Very few footballers and pop singers build successful careers beyond sport and pop culture.

But lots of marriages end. In the world they live in, happy long lasting marriages are probably the minority. So why not just divorce and move on with someone else? Someone will say they are protecting their 'brand' but do they really have a joint 'brand' anymore? She has her fashion and he has various other stuff. I don't think a divorce would really damage their business interests because most people already know it's just a facade. And they're worth hundreds of millions between them so when is enough enough?

Yes they've built a relationship with the press by feeding them nuggets so the press have been continuing to potray Brooklyn in a negative light and them in a positive light, Good on Brooklyn fro setting the record straight and omg I wish he would post the dance footage 😂

VB is clearly the mil from hell. Brooklyn was always her golden child and she has clearly hated Nicola from day 1 from 'stealing' her golden child away from her.
