Is it normal for me to be so tired

Young, in shape (around 53kg) no dependants, living alone in London. I also take iron supplements daily as have often been anaemic in past.

I feel like I don’t have an excuse to be feeling tired. 8+ hours is a long time to sleep surely? How are people coping with working full time with caring responsibilities

I sleep just before midnight, then wake up at around 8.40am. I still really struggle waking up in the morning so may even snooze alarm for an extra 10 mins but I have to be logged in to my work laptop by 9.
I’ll often ‘work’ (attend morning meetings camera off) from bed for first hour which I know is bad/gross but I’m just too exhausted to get up properly.

Only by 10am-ish do I feel more awake.

After work (finish anywhere from 5.30 - 6.30) I’m then too tired to cook so most of the time grab a healthier ready meal from supermarket for dinner.

The odd evening after work I may have plans with friends and will force myself to fight tiredness because of it. However, the next morning will suffer with more tiredness.

I would make an appointment with your GP.

Sounds to me your getting enough sleep, why not try going to bed at say 11pm see how you feel next morning.
Tiredness can working on a lap top for hours.
Your brains really working hard. Plus not getting any fresh air in the day.
Get a blood tests to rule out anything that could be the reason for your tiredness. Hope your feeling top of the world soon.

“Tired All The Time” is a recognised symptom, go and see the GP and explain how it is impacting your life so they can do blood tests.

One thing you can start straight away is go to bed earlier - the old adage of an hours sleep before 11 is worth two after is true.
Check with GP that there’s is nothing physical wrong.

Bed 10pm
Take a good multi vit
Get D and B12 levels checked
Drink more water
Exercise (brisk walk) daily
Eat more protein

Agreed.
Go to bed earlier, then set up an alarm and get up earlier. Go for an early morning walk to kickstart your day, get a vit D boost and improve your MH.
Start cooking for yourself to improve your diet. I'm sure even "healthier" ready meals are packed with UPF.
Go out more. You do sound a bit isolated OP xx

Late twenties. That seems like a great idea, and I feel embarrassed I struggle with doing something so simple. However in the morning it’s just so hard to leave bed

This is long, sorry.
My recipe for early mornings :

Jump out of bed as soon as you wake up drink 2 huge glasses of water with lemon or cucumber / pull the curtains and open the windows / close your eyes and take 25 deep breaths then open your eyes and let the light bring you to life/ listen to the birds / count how many different colours you can see / put kettle on / loo, teeth / put tea to infuse / shower: use water as hot as you like but finish with a blast of cold / Scrub dry vigorously / Find a body cream or oil that pleases you and moisturize all over. (Starting the day with a fragrance can make a huge difference) / drink tea / put alarms on your phone to organize your day / put some comfortable clothes on get out of the house for some fresh air, brisk walk, jog, run minimum 10 minutes - Examine everything on your route, count colours or trees or cars going by.
