My first ever mobile phone

Had my car stolen when I was about 20 and it had this gorgeous black fake fur 3/4 length coat in it. Wasn't hugely expensive, but the fit was perfect. Got the car back, without the coat. Still gutted about that, even though I'm now 45 and it very definitely wouldn't fit me now.

Also lent a really nice Morgan sleeveless v-neck to a colleague for a night out, and she turned out to be a complete psycho and I never got it back. Still furious.

Is it weird how attached I apparently am to my clothes?!

My wedding ring. It was three tiny diamonds set into a silver band and I loved it so much. Two of the diamonds came loose and fell out, and the band broke. I had to get it cut off because it was digging into my finger. I've still got it but I obviously can't wear it anymore! I want to get the last remaining diamond set into a new ring but we just can't afford it right now. One day...

That’s awful @ImamumgetmeoutofhereI feel really bad for you Flowers

She was (and still is as far as I’m told from family who still see her) a massive twat and an all round general awful human being, hence being removed from her care 🙄 it’s made me even more determined to be the best, most kind and compassionate mum to my children I possible can. I would be devastated if I even made my children feel a scrap of how she made me feel that day

I had a lovely and expensive velvet mid length coat when I was younger.
After a night out drinking came in and must have forgot to hang it up
In the morning I found i had left it drapped over a family members pet rat cage and was torn to bits.

When I was about 9 or 10 I had a collection of collectible photos of the spice girls 😅 I seriously loved them and would trade them with my friends till I had all my favourites!

Anyway, one day I came home and found them ripped in half! My bastard older brother is a spiteful twat.

@Drachuughtty you weren't in East Lothian in Scotland as a child? I found a silver fish shaped penknife in the 80s and loved it for several years until I eventually lost it in turn...

OMG - are you me?

Exactly the same thing happened to me with my grandmother's bracelet. In my case it was at a posh function and I had the venue staff make an announcement about it, noting the enormous sentimental value. Still no fucker came forward to hand it in. The worst thing is knowing that there is a high chance I knew the thief through working in the same industry. Absolute scum.

In my case it was some very busy public toilets in a large shopping centre.
