Waiting on a Friend - it’s just ageless and so sexy.

I am loving this thread, I have had the day from hell and this is bringing back loads of great memories. The tunes, the lyrics, the clothes, the scandals, the feuds, they are so entertaining in so many ways.

Undercover of the Night hasn't been mentioned yet. It's even further from the music that the band originally aspired to but it's still a great song.

Same here, if that had been the only song that they had ever done it would still be remarkable but the fact that they have such an incredible back catalouge is testament to their talents, chemistry and musicality. Some of their sucess is down to the era they began their decades long career but some is just down to having that indefinable "it" quality, Years ago I worked with a woman who used to go and see them in their very early days on the London club scene and she said it was obvious from the start they were going to be huge.
