Can anyone help me find a pretty odd and specific Christmas present?

A bic pickle lighter (don't ask)

But its the only thing my Autistic son has actually asked for after me asking him 100 times.

They are just normal bic lighters, with a pickle on them. They are on OnBuy but shipping and customs comes to £151 🤣🤣🤣

Can anyone help at all?

Would they be on eBay?? Or home bargains/gift shops?

24Dogcuddler · 28/10/2025 21:51

How old is he?

Blessedbethefruitz · 28/10/2025 22:05

Feedback on the official bic site is only 22 days old - it's probably worth giving them a call/email to see if they have any hanging about.

Littletreefrog · 28/10/2025 22:06

Could you buy plain white lighters and pickle stickers?

I'm not sure if they were just a USA thing?

They're the ones that want £110 shipping!

I could but they wouldn't be the same really, apparently its not just a random pickle lighter it has to be these ones 🤣

My message was auto blocked for some reason, but there’s some on a website called everymarket. Uk

£27.49, plus £9.99 flat fee delivery to Uk.

Not sure if any custom fees etc

Hopefully it’s okay, have no idea if the website is any good.

I’m assuming the pickle is a Rick and Morty thing?

Just further looked at reviews for that website, and doesn’t look great.

Sorry OP, should have checked before I posted

Hopefully you can get one somewhere 🤞

Actually not, though I thought so too. Its from a video of a guy in an off licence in the US buying a lighter and getting very offended as he is randomly given this one and wants something more masculine.

Feel like I need to watch this video now 😂

This is a great idea. I suppose it'll depend on who takes your enquiry, but everywhere I've worked a request like this would prompt a helpful response.

Try TwiX as well, especially if you have followers who will can be pushed to amplify the urgency.

Maybe email Walmart too? Can’t hurt

TangyJellyTot · 28/10/2025 22:58

This is the sort of thing a helpful US Mumsnet member can hopefully help with! Falling that, Reddit.

LivingTheDreamish · 29/10/2025 02:32

They are available on amazon.ca (Canadian site) but not sure if this helps as the shipping is probably horrendous.

MarxistMags · 29/10/2025 02:39

Great answer 😀

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 29/10/2025 02:41
