I've had my usual yoghurt, blueberries & chopped nuts, and a latte.

Will have a second one around 11.00 after a brisk walk! Not sure what but I had an Ocado order yesterday so have plenty to choose from 🌞

I experimented and made matcha porridge with blueberries, raspberries, topped with chopped nuts and yoghurt and maple syrup. It looked horrendous but tasted amazing.

Greek yoghurt and raspberries, 2 very strong filter coffees. Going for a walk soon as it's a lovely sunny day in London. May stop on the way for a bacon sandwich!

Lisanne55 · 26/10/2025 10:29

2 thick slices of toast with butter and raspberry jam and 2 cups of tea.

Not-Birds Eye potato waffles (but still waffly versatile) with soft scrambled eggs.

Have been unwell and only now getting my appetite back so it was most enjoyable.

Catsknowbest · 26/10/2025 10:34

Not bright and sunny here 😅 wet and grim. But I had grilled bacon on a brown bap.

HundredMilesAnHour · 26/10/2025 10:34

I shared some sourdough toast (with Enid Blyton-esque lashings of butter) with my dwarf hamster, and now I’m having a flat white and she’s having tenderstem broccoli. I think I have the better deal. 😋

I had one Weetabix and a tangerine - not my normal breakfast.

My normal breakfasts are berries, yogurt and chopped nuts, but I make a point of having something different 2/3x a week, ie granary toast and apple, cereal and now winter is approaching it'll be porridge.

Purplecatshopaholic · 26/10/2025 10:42

Toast and marmalade and some chocolate.

MajesticWhine · 26/10/2025 10:45

Scrambled eggs on a slice of toast (seeded), large mug of tea.

sanityisamyth · 26/10/2025 10:45

Spoons!

ACatAsleepInYourHat · 26/10/2025 10:54

Grey and windy here, occasional showers. I’m still contemplating breakfast after a very restless night, I’m not sure I can face anything yet. I may just wait till lunchtime - there’s some of yesterday’s honey mustard chicken in the fridge with my name on it. Either that or boiled eggs with toast soldiers.

Sausages sandwiches. Not our usual Sunday breakfast but a special request from a friend’s son who is staying with us.

@soupyspoon I cannot fathom why you’d do that to anyone!! 🤢

Lol

So breakfast for him this morning has been his pro biotic yoghurts and drinks (because they make all the difference apparently) followed by a tinned soup, followed by a pancake, bacon and blueberries. Now he wants that semolina

I have had some left over bread pudding

He has been buying it in the tin but its full of sugar so I just make it with plain milk and some cinnamon.

Caffeine and choas

What are choas? I did try google. Or did you mean chaos and are having a fraught morning? If so I hope your day improves 🙂

Great thread OP. I can't decide what to have, lots of lovely ideas here.
I am boring and have the usual cereal and/or toast most of the time.

I fancy a bacon sandwich or cooked breakfast but I work the early shift at a Spoons and have eaten far too much of that kind of stuff lately on my break!

I've had bacon sarnies twice this week as had a friend staying - toasted sourdough, loads of butter and brown sauce!

Haha. My bad. Yes chaos. Mum of 18m old. Breakfast is usually thrown about the kitchen here. Its great fun.

DS2 and I ate pain au chocolate frozen and cooked in the oven, whilst looking out at the rain.
DH doesn't do breakfast.
DS1 is away. I'm guessing a full English tho.

Crunchymum · 26/10/2025 13:25

No real breakfast for me (I had a few oatcakes with homemade jam about 10ish - jam was homemade by MIL and not myself)

Just about to make myself a BLT for lunch though 😋

When I had my appendix out when I was 8, I was nil by mouth for several days. I was starving. Absolutely ravenous. They offered me semolina and I refused it and cried! It’s the lumps! Im glad your dh likes it - that’s quite the varied breakfast he had!

No lumps here thank you very much!!!

Thats always his weekend breakfast, it drives me mad, it takes ages for us to get anything done on a weekend because of this long drawn out nonsense.
