I got 99 sleep score last night. What was yours?

My sleep score was 99 last night.

The night before it was 93. This is unheard of. Literally nothing is different to when I'm usually getting 70s or 80s.

Has anyone got 100 before? I wonder what small thing was missing for the extra point.

I am not a good sleeper and have been on a run of mid 70's score.

I don't get very much deep sleep at all and waken easily and then I always need a wee.

I did have some wine last night but no alcohol in the week, bath with epsom salts, lovely bedding, lots of steps in the day, yoga, take magnesium before bed.

what can I do??

HollyGolightly4 · 18/10/2025 16:01

I'm happy with anything above 80! Disclaimer- I am pregnant and it's definitely doing strange things to my sleep!

I had to go back to bed for a nap this afternoon.

I'm typically a terrible sleeper!

45 it’s been low all week, had a surgery at the beginning of the week and sleep is very on and off at the moment

thenewaveragebear1983 · 18/10/2025 16:09

Mine was 85. Regardless of how well I sleep, if I don’t get over 7 hours it’s never classed as good, only fair. I like the sleep data, when I first got my Garmin I was averaging around 10 minutes of deep sleep only per night, and really struggling. I have made lots of changes and now get a decent sleep score most nights, although I would like an extra hour if I could

bibbidybobbedyboop · 18/10/2025 16:13

Score was 93 and I slept for 8hrs 39mins last night, sounds great but it was because my body was catching up from a very stressful week and very little sleep the previous night, so I don’t feel especially rested. Still on a cortisol high at the moment, not fun. Life seems to be going from one stressful thing to another without a break in between!

justasoul · 18/10/2025 16:16

Forgot to charge my watch last night so no score. I scrolled back and apparently had a 100 on the 1st August, I am sure this been calculated retroactively as I don't remember ever being given a score before I updated to the new iOS a few weeks back...

Idontknowhatnametochoose · 18/10/2025 16:17

Mine is around 70 most nights on sleep tracker. Sometimes it goes to 55 or below. I'm a terrible sleeper and wake several times a night for the toilet or due to my animals.

gamerchick · 18/10/2025 16:20

85 sleep score but my body battery is 21. I rarely get out of the 80s for sleep.

I'd love it in the 90s just once.

DaisyDukesAuntie · 18/10/2025 16:23

I got a 91, don’t feel at all refreshed sadly due to work stress, but will top up with a nap

gianfrancogorgonzola · 18/10/2025 15:35

Six hours of deep sleep is mad! I get around 1 1/2 - 2 which is on the higher end.

i got 100 last night but was in bed for ten hours which happens about once a week. I can get over 90 regularly though, I have very regular sleep / wake up times which helps a lot. Alcohol or late eating disrupts it hugely so I don’t do either.

I tend to go on deep sleep. Even if my total is 5 hours, but my deep sleep is 1 1/2 hours minimum then it's fine for the day.

Any less than that and I need a nanna nap Grin

SheSpeaks · 18/10/2025 16:27

56 last night.
39 the night before.

highest it’s been is 70 that I can see.

What kind of thing have you done that's improved deep sleep? I usually sleep fairly well for around 7 hours but am still knackered. Don't have an app but might borrow a fit bit to see what it says.

I don't get a sleep score as such, but I sleep like a log. Most people have much less deep sleep than I do, but this is a regular day for me.

Wow I'd love to get that much deep sleep! I'm lucky if I get half an hour, often its just ten minutes or so.

Natsku · 18/10/2025 17:10

92 last night, though I don't think waking up at 6am on a Saturday counts as a good night's sleep Angry

My sleep scores seem to vary a fair bit, from 60s to 90s, but I always wake up feeling pretty much the same amount of knackered. But my sleep has improved since I've started getting up early (I get up at half 4 during the week to go to work) and I fall asleep so much quicker in the evenings now but it seems I am unable to sleep in on weekends anymore, my brain just wakes me up at stupid o'clock even when it doesn't have to.

Tulipvase · 18/10/2025 17:11

46 last night. The highest mine has been is 68. Mine is from a Garmin watch and it says I had 112 restless movements.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 18/10/2025 17:18

@Mt563HRT, no coffee after 11am, no caffeinated tea pretty much ever (I may be unique in this one, but tea makes me feel like my heart is thundering), but the single biggest improvement is my eye mask and ear plugs. I sleep so much better. Dh snores sometimes but is generally a restless, snuffly, deep breather and oh my, I would sometimes be woken multiple times a night. Now I rarely wake up and if I do I go back to sleep pretty quickly. Previously it’s those night time wake ups when I’d already had a couple of hours and I’d toss and turn from 2am.

my current big improver is cutting out gluten, which means I don’t fall asleep watching tv anymore, so I actually get better sleep when I do go to bed. And no alcohol, or at least accepting that when I first drink, I don’t sleep well, and planning my life accordingly.

74 last night which is very good for me, usually i am up around 5am

The other day it told me I had 3 mins deep sleep. I think that must be a record.

Yikes. How are you functioning on that?

It was a rough day. 3 year old DD had an ear infection so up every 40 mins! Brutal

TryingToFigureItOut2 · 18/10/2025 18:58

I generally get good sleep scores. I used to be terrible but then I gave up reading the guardian and have slept much better since then. LOL

(anxiety triggers even first thing in the morning seem to really ruin my night's sleep)

AmberLime · 18/10/2025 21:54

I only had 46 minutes of deep sleep in my 99 sleep score, plus I got up for a wee around 1am so I don't get why my sleep score was so high.

I do feel unusually un-tired tonight though. I'm usually ready for bed by 10pm. I'll probably have a dreadful nights sleep tonight.

62 for me, better than I thought but now all these had made me realise it’s no wonder I’m tired

This thread has got me reading about Fitbit sleep scores, and I don't even have a Fitbit!

Up to 50 points for length of sleep, max 25 points for deep, and the other 25 points is for lack of waking/restlessness.
That's why you can get a high score without much deep sleep.

I think the amount of deep sleep I get is very unusual, going by this thread and my dh's sleep pattern.
We all just need different. I know I wouldn't be able to walk and talk after a couple of nights of some of these sleep patterns on here.

TheDandyLion · 18/10/2025 22:19

Mine is never above 80 and it always says I'm a light sleeper but I rarely feel tired or deprived of quality sleep.
