Is Purdy and Fig worth it?

Totally been drawn in by all the bloody social media adds and the fact I want to rid my house of the many different cleaners I have! Is the complete cleaner kit worth it?

I want something that will leave my bathroom sparkling (including loo) and will rid the tiles of limescale. (The water in my area is super hard)

Also, what are the smells like? They have an autumn range but have no idea what that is? Please share all reviews (good and bad)

Not really, they clean well and I like that you can use them everywhere and that they use natural fragrances. I found that the fragrance doesn’t let though.
There are better/cheaper eco friendly alternatives out there, I like Neat.

ViaRia01 · 05/09/2025 13:10

I’d love to be able to say yes (as I was quite looking forward to having a sparkling and beautifully fragrant house when I signed up) but, to me, it was just too costly, I didn’t notice any difference in its cleaning-ability, and I personally didn’t really like the fragrances.

Motherofwildlings · 05/09/2025 17:04

It’s poshly marketed just essential oil, not worth it!

I’m personally a fan, I like you can use it on all surfaces without worrying (no issues on quartz, solid wood etc) and the smells are lovely- although I agree don’t last ages. I’ve got a 3 monthly subscription for x3 refills at £13.40.. which I don’t feel is too costly as they last (I use several times a day). I’m happy with how it cleans overall, although do use some other products if I need to really target an area/issue- I use the P&F stuff as more of a general daily spray.

Delatron · 05/09/2025 17:12

I don’t think the smell lasts. And my bottle broke - as in the spray nozzle.

unknownusername · 05/09/2025 17:14

I liked it but I loathe subscription based products and buying outwith sub is substantially more expensive. I got the starter pack but haven't bought further refills. I liked all the smells but they don't last

Laura19881 · 05/09/2025 17:15

100% not worth it. I had been drawn in by the social media hype and the offers. I got it for the long lasting scent. And it most certainly does not have a long lasting scent.

isitmytime · 05/09/2025 17:16

No. Well not in my opinion. I didn’t find it cleaned all that well and left glass/glossy surfaces with smears/marks. I did like the cloth that came with it but the rest was a let down

Delphigirl · 05/09/2025 17:16

I like neat which you can get from Ocado. No plastics, barely any packaging, good cleaners, nice smells

LinaLouLa · 05/09/2025 17:17

I bought into the hype but wasn't impressed. They all smell the same and one of my kids units was ruined from it....I cancelled my subscription.

DogMa73 · 05/09/2025 17:18

I like it ! But I still use Viakal for limescale.
I never need my replen order by the time the date rolls around as I don’t clean as often as I should lol - but it’s ok, you just need to keep a note to defer it. Otherwise you’d be inundated with product and it might then feel too expensive. The essential oil bottles are tiny and you mix with water - which saves on cupboard space.

Reportingfromwherever · 05/09/2025 17:23

I really like it but I buy it on eBay much cheaper. I don’t want a subscription which is why is get it from there. I have to say, it cleans well but most of all, lasts for ages.

Allschoolsareartschools · 05/09/2025 17:33

Yes & no. It's the best cleaner ever for my shower screen & I'd recommend the bathroom one. The multi surface one is great for upholstery stains.
But PPs are right, the scent does NOT last! I thought it was just me😄
Overall I'm a bit disappointed, I'll probably cancel after my next delivery.
It doesn't live up to the promise of a spa scented home at all which is what reeled me in.

AutismMum2017 · 05/09/2025 17:57

I don’t rate it. I got the starter pack but as lovely as the smell is, it just doesn’t last!

TheBeaTgoeson1 · 05/09/2025 18:06

I like the brown bottles and the olive Green cloth, but it’s not worth the money and isn’t really worth sticking with.

HundredMilesAnHour · 05/09/2025 18:07

I like P&F as a general counter / bathroom spray (both work well on glass too) but I use Neat for daily shower spray and Bower Collective for limescale remover and washing-up liquid.

StressedEric · 05/09/2025 18:10

No

HelloHattie · 05/09/2025 18:12

The smell doesn’t last. I went back to method. At least I can smell that a couple of hours later

DisforDarkChocolate · 05/09/2025 18:13

I love mine but not the subscription model, I don't need that much.

Frugalally · 05/09/2025 18:16

White vinegar on cotton wool left in surface or splashed in loo overnight will remove limescale amazingly well ( and cheap!) any old soap melted ito water and put in a spray bottle will clean surfaces. Vinegar with water and newspaper to dry it for windows.
absolutely no need to buy lots of products or indeed this one. We are all being conned!

Charabanc · 05/09/2025 18:25

Personally, no. Bought it all once, didn't bother again.

holidayfever2024 · 05/09/2025 18:37

Same here it’s a no sadly !

mummybear35 · 05/09/2025 19:01

Overrated…I’ve been making my own following Nancy Birtwhistle’s recipes using white vinegar etc m natural ingredients…my house is just as clean if not cleaner than when I used store bought stuff…and I know it’s all toxin free and kind to the environment..

LovelySunnyDayToday · 05/09/2025 19:03

It smells really nice. But doesn’t last. It can’t clean everything. But it makes it smell nice as you are cleaning. It’s stupidly expensive though.

Shiremum40 · 05/09/2025 19:05

No and it left some surfaces sticky. The smell didn’t last. I went back to method.
