MM doesn't need to forgive us for anything. We didn't do anything to get apart to support the marriage. Then the truth about her came out, how she treated Prince Philip and the queen. How she seemed to think Harry was a billionaire and would be waited on and and foot as a princess. She really didn't understand the fact that she would be a working royal and serve this country. She understood it all backwards.

I couldn't give a flying f-ck. I barely noticed either her arrival or departure. I loathe her and the entire royal family. To me, Britain means Shakespeare and Jane Austen and Dickens, not that bunch of ugly, grinning gargoyles.

She seems like a lovely person so I expect she will, but I doubt she will ever spend any time here given the unhinged toxic lying of the British press. She has a fantastic life in California so I doubt she will care if she never comes here again.

I can’t see her being eager to get back here. That said, I did watch an episode of her recent cringefest on Netflix….Every. single. last. item and tiny move calculated to the nth degree, even her laughter, with her tongue caught coquettishly between her teeth, which you know she perfected sitting before the mirror for hours on end. I'm the first to admit that I don't follow Royal Family goings-on...but the hatred for Meghan is unavoidable.

What is it she has actually done to deserve it? It seems to me that Harry is on board with her all the way, whatever it is they say or do. Why is she getting the blame and resentment?

I have heard some people say she disresepcted the Royal Family...and certainly there are clips of her committing some very minor faux pas going around...such walking ahead of Harry or some shit like that.
People can't seriously be hating her on the basis of that sort of thing?

I don’t know why anyone really cares what she thinks. She’s dull as dishwater, which is why she has to keep on with all her crazed new ideas trying to drum up any media spotlight.

I believe she came in convinced she was going to be the glamorous new star of the show, and that her only real competition was Kate. And of course the press initially loved that she was an actress and brought a taste of Hollywood (albeit B/C-list). She sold papers and generated clicks.

But for a supposedly bright woman (and skilled manipulator, it seems) she was actually fairly naive about her place in The Firm and its structure. She expected to have to compete with Kate, but what she didn’t realise was that Camilla and Anne were actually higher up the ranks than her; that while they couldn’t compete on glamour, they both wielded more power than the wife of the spare. She should have looked at how Andrew fell down the pecking order as William and Harry grew up - he was the spare, and what Harry would have become. But she was vainglorious enough to think that, while Andrew had regularly blotted his copybook, the public loved the cheeky rogue prince she’d married and would therefore love her too.

Meghan Markle is ultimately an actress who misunderstood how big her role in the production was. It’s like having been convinced by your agent that the character you’re up for in EastEnders will be the new Sharon Watts (or maybe Cindy Beale in Meghan’s case), only to realise once you’ve signed the contract and are a few months into filming that you’re more like Honey Mitchell or the lesbian who used to be in London’s Burning.
