Massive Euromillions jackpot. What would you buy?

So the next Euromillions jackpot is apparently going to be over 200 million pounds. Apart from the predictably boring stuff like making all your family financially secure, and charitable donations, what utterly mad thing would you buy if you won? I quite fancy this little "flat in town" - with staff, obviously. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/157474112#/?channel=RES_BUY

Check out this 5 bedroom apartment for sale on Rightmove

Freeze in terror of the implications. That’s what I’d do.

Same

Several houses !

One in Cornwall with not only sea views but that I can actually hear the waves in.
possibly

One where I currently live. I have one in mind and it's just been ' reduced '

One in London, somewhere nice and quiet i.e. Hampstead Garden Suburb.
and a car to keep in the garage there so I don't actually have to drive to/from London but can drive when I am there.
something like

and a sizeable donation to a Animal charity, and a donation to a local small Cat rescue

Oh those seaside ones are something special aren’t they

Teajenny7 · 18/08/2025 23:26

Next OMAZE property.🤣

DorothyStorm · 20/08/2025 13:18

£6.40. Not quite enough for a deposit on the shooting lodge I wanted.

NC4thehaters · 20/08/2025 13:23

I’d employ someone to scratch my back and play with my hair…
also employ a hairdresser to come every morning and professionally style my hair!

Tell my boss to stick the job where the sun doesn't shine and set up a rival firm just to piss her off. I'd do a much better job of running the organisation then the current shit show of senior managers.

I’d give a million quid to any of my colleagues willing to quit on the spot and leave my shitty employer in the lurch

SleepQuest33 · 20/08/2025 13:33

I don’t think it will ever happen for me because I never get a single number right! but.. if I dare to dream, I would buy land and recreate a beautiful park, playground, restaurant type place which would provide work opportunities to people with special needs (and perhaps other vulnerable groups).

Dippythedino · 23/08/2025 20:39

I'd also fund grass roots girls sports clubs with proper facilities/kit, coaches & minibuses to take them to matches. Female sports always scrabble around for funding while the men's sector is very well funded.

An island.
With either a gin palace yacht and a boat dock or an airstrip...

Islands are overrated 😂 (maybe different if you have that much money though)

Lemonsugarpancake · 23/08/2025 21:14

I'd have housekeepers and a chef, and I would have a couple of tour guides and PAs who would take me and the DC on holidays that I can't take them on by myself. I'd take a year sabbatical and study for an MA for my own interest, then go back to work part time. And give loads away of course, I have lots of ideas for that. I'd give a huge donation to my DC's schools so they could have the same resources as private schools.

Dutchhouse14 · 23/08/2025 21:22

I would buy a holiday home, a new car, lots of lovely sparkly jewellery and Art, maybe I'd consider a face lift😂
Oh and I'd get my garden landscaped by a professional garden designer.
Obviously would share winnings with our children to set them up for life and extended family and friends

Dippythedino · 18/09/2025 20:34

New teeth! 😀

JohnofWessex · 18/09/2025 20:43

Middle son would like his own airship - think Graf Zeppelin

Thankfully the Manxmans been scrapped but a lot of sheds to store all those irreplaceable vintage railway carriages that currently sit out in the rain would be nice

Pedallleur · 18/09/2025 21:25

Doubt I would buy a house. Just rent somewhere and move on. Couple of months in one place eg California then Spain or Australia. Follow the sun.
