If you’re 5’5 and weight 9 1/2 stone what clothes size are you please?

Hi, I’m in the process of losing weight and 9 1/2 is the middle of the healthy bmi guidance and I’m wondering what clothes size this is pls. I know it will be different for different people and in different shops but I’m just looking for the range.

I’m a 10 at the same height/weight.

I’m 5’4 but at that weight I was a size 8.

I am 5’5” and about that weight. I am quite small frame with narrow shoulders without actually being petite. Vanity sizing brings me down to a10, with size 12 if I need a bit more room.

Depends how much of it is muscle. I'm 5'6, quite muscular (do lots of weights to stave off hereditary osteoporosis) and 9st 8. I wear 8s and 10s depending on the shop.

I'm an inch shorter and a size 12 but I lift weights quite seriously and have low body fat but significant muscles, particularly lats, shoulders and legs. If I didn't lift, I'd be a size 10, maybe size 8.

10 in trousers, 12 in t-shirt style tops, 14 in stiffer fabrics/styles like blouses or button shirts - a 10 would probably still fit me in the body but I have quite broad shoulders!

5'6 and just around 9 stone here. Depending on the shop, I'm a steady 10, or sometimes an 8. But so much depends on build, I am unfortunately 90% boob, so if a top is tight I might need a 12 on top but if fabric is stretchy then an 8 is fine on the bottom half, which makes dresses hard to buy because if it fits nicely round my boobs it's in folds around my waist, and if it fits my (actually quite small) waist then I can't do it up over the boobage.

Age 64, but lots of running, cycling, walking and Pilates to keep everything from collapsing.

I’m 5ft 6 and flit between 9.8 and 10.2 always between 8/10/12 but generally a 10 tops jeans 8

I’m bordering on 5’6, tend to sit around 63kg and typically wear size 10.

Size 10 for me. The occassional size 8 if the style of the garment is roomy/ boxy. Generally, a comfortable 10.

At that weight I was a 12

I'm 5ft 4 and weigh 9st3. I wear a 12 on top and a 10/12 on bottom half

8-10 but mostly 10

5’2 9 stone and wear an 8 if that helps, but I think it depends on your build as well, I’m petite

I'm exactly that height and weight. I'm 58 and I have a "V" shaped body with broad shoulders, big bust and smaller hips.

I'm a Size 12. My trousers are quite loose on me so I suspect I could get into a size 10 but my upper body is most definitely a 12.

I'm gobsmacked by the people who say they are this height and weight and then say the are a Size 8.

I'm 5'7, 9 st and I usually go for 10-12. Couldn't possibly fit in a 8!

I was 8/10 bloody loved that weight! It depends where you carry it though? I was spinning 5 times a week so very fit.

Mostly a 10 sometimes an 8.

I was a size 10 at that weight, same height.
