this is mine for the day

it was previously owned by Ian Fleming and Noel Coward

realistically I probably wouldn’t buy a property right on the beach, but for fantasy purposes I’d take it.

Check out this 3 bedroom detached house for sale on Rightmove

Beautiful house but it looks like a 2cm tide would swamp it (yes pedantic as I know it’s a dream/fantasy house!).

Here’s mine!

Oh, holy cow!!!

I could walk to work from here. You get a good deal for your money in Lincolnshire.

Wasn't that one featured in the fly on the wall documentary about Savills?

I think I'd prefer this one - looks just like Longbourne.... https://www.fineandcountry.co.uk/derbyshire-estate-agents/property-sale/6-bedroom-detached-house-for-sale-in-de6-3ah-ashbourne-longford/3817659

I can't open the link to it but I'm near there and I'm sure I remember seeing this with some local gossip. It's freezing here in winter mind.

I think this is my favourite house ever. Pete Townshend's old gaff on Richmond Hill. Used to belong to John Mills and is ridiculously beautiful.

I found this property on the Rightmove Android app and wanted you to see it: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/162232832

Not sure if this will work.
I might play the lottery this week!

Oh my, I know this house. I visited when I was a kid, definitely worth a lottery ticket.

Longbourne (from the BBC series) was for sale recently for £4.5m. I want it!!!!

Hazey19 · 07/08/2025 20:25

Wow that is gorgeous!

Richandstrange · 07/08/2025 20:42

This one, would need to stay in our current area due to caring responsibilities so location wouldn't be for everyone but it's perfect for us. It has priestholes, a secret attic room, a bluebell wood and a treehouse, I really need to win Euromillions on Friday!

If you wanted to go all out Euromillions/Footballers Wives tacky excess, there's this for £32,000,000. It's been on the market forever. It's a bit Bond Villain's lair.

I can honestly say that that is the worst house I have ever seen. Goes to prove that money can't buy taste

waitingforpost · 07/08/2025 20:50
