On the hunt for a new podcast I can get stuck into.
Something true maybe crime or mystery, thriller, unsolved, twists and turns. Basically I’m in search of something as gripping as S-Town.
I loved Serial, Hoaxed, west cork podcast, The Witness, Stuff you should know. So anything along those lines, I really felling like I’m missing out on some big ones! Any recs welcome!

Looks good but needs a subscription?

Ah yes. Some wondery stuff does need a sub. I subscribed a while ago because I like their content so much - there’s an absolute ton of good stuff like this.

You can get a lot of podcasts via both Amazon music and audible subscriptions if you already have them.

Ghost Story was good.

The Shrink Next Door was too.

So many..!

A couple more recommendations:
Root of Evil, about the Black Dahlia murder. It is really dark though, be warned.
Sea of Lies, which I’m about 3 episodes in to. A dead body is found at sea, tracks who it is (won’t say more as spoilers) .

Also listened to Bone Valley, murder of a young woman in the 1980s. I didn’t finish it, just found it incredibly sad and her husband was too dodgy for me to get behind.

Oh they sound great 🤩 thank you!

Yes I subscribed for a while as the content is great, I cancelled last year but think it’s worth signing up again!

Just listened to Who Killed Emma, very well researched and presented. Interesting story about the murder of a woman in Glasgow.

Yes that was really good. If you want to see the TV documentary version, it used to be on iPlayer. Chilling.

The Lucy Worsley Lady Killers/Swindlers podcasts are excellent.
Rima Ahmed’s Strange But True is great, and off the back of one of the cases they covered, i discovered an 8 part series about it, called Fools Gold.

All on BBC Sounds.

That was so moving. I was very affected by it, actually.
