I found it insanely overwhelming and was absolutely done after two days, but I think you do need two to get the things you want to done. The layout is pretty annoying, it’s two separate parcs separated by a central area that you need to beep in and out of with your pass, so you’ll want to prioritise one parc at a time or you’ll end up spending so much time schlepping back and forth. You’re basically glued to the app seeing what queue times are like, if you see something is low then hotfoot it over as it changes really quickly,
We got all the rides we wanted done across the two days. We did pay for a couple of them as we were done with the queuing by them and just wanted to get them done and leave. I did find the whole thing a very cynical exercise in getting money out of people, obviously to be expected but it was worse than I thought with the reserved space for fireworks or guaranteeing show entry, given the extremely high cost of tickets in the first place. Whenever we saw a show was going to start soon, the queue was already gigantic and signs up saying it was full etc, so I don’t know how organised/early you need to be to get into the shows without paying for the guaranteed entry and I refused to do that as it was per person and was like £100 or something. It’s a good chance to get on some rides though as queue times tend to reduce.
My kids aren’t really that mad about the whole Disney thing, so the character stuff wasn’t really that interesting for them, they didn’t know who most of them were. But they did love going on the rides. If you stay at a Disney hotel you get in an hour early and a few of the big rides are open then (only a handful, most rides are closed till 9:30 when park opens proper). We did Crush’s Coaster on day 1 but even being there at 8:15 to get in park the queue was still up to 45 mins by the time we reached it. It was 75+ mins rest of the time we were there though. The next day we decided to bash out several slightly lower key ones which was a better use of our time I think. If I was doing it again, I would just go for quantity in the magic hour and accept I will pay for premier access for a couple of the others.
Anyway this sounds a bit negative, we did enjoy it and I think it’s definitely a worthwhile experience but I am not in a hurry to return. We are going to try Efteling next time, have heard very positive stuff about it and it seems a bit less crazed.
Def get one of the Nutella crepes, they are so good!
